Re: Audio pop issue on power and when loading cores?

This might be fixed by having a newly loaded core gradually go from this min or max value to the center value, say during the first few frames, so it becomes inaudible.

The other way around, when exiting a core, would be tricky or maybe not even possible, depending on how the reset button works.

None of these seem to be available for the Netherlands anymore, for some reason. A friend was interested in getting one as well, but that seems to be tricky now.

There's possibly something wrong with that 0Mhz version. It has been working well with the Top 300 pack. When I get back home I can check if it works on my setup.

Hi there, unfortunately I've discovered that, while the Recreated works fine with ZX81, in Zx Spectrum core - after 20 minutes (plus or more) of use, it loses systematically the connection...

That is an odd problem, almost sounds like some kind of power saving thing. I hope @pgimeno will be able to fix that.

Hi, I am a new bee and I only have a DE10-standard. Is it OK to use DE10-standard instead of DE10-nano? thanks. That is quite a necro-bump :D Cores have to be ported specifically for the DE10 Standard. For some weird reason, I still haven't used my MiSTer on my 65 inch TV, I really should do that some time soon.

a real man doesn't need to brag about the size of his telly..

LOL :D It was relevant though, as Monos was talking about a big TV. Yet, here I am using the MiSTer on my puny 9 inch iPad display exclusively.

It can download both. Just run the script twice (with and without prefer_mt32 set)

I tried this, after the non-mt32 downloads were finished and unfortunately it deleted every non-mt32 mgl file again (the media files were untouched). Maybe that is because I have the option to always redownload mgl files enabled.

Re: Vectrex Output to an Oscilloscope Through VGA Port

This is great! I was wondering years ago if something like this would be possible. I guess with the new analog IO boards, with 24-bit VGA output, this could work even better?

Some games I remember using variable brightness (Z output) are: Mine Storm, Web Warp and Dark Tower.

I have a Vectrex, but also a CRT scope, it would be fun to try this.

oh ok, the chargers i saw on amazon showed 12v, not 100% sure how USB-C works, i'm guessing it can take multiple voltages? OR does the charger need to specifically be 5v?

I can't check it right now, but as far as I know it is five volt. I use a power delivery adapter for it, I don't think it does over five volts.

Thanks! I'd also like to plug the USB-C into the wall, what kind of adapter does it need? I read that a 25w is around 2 amps, will this screen require more power?

25w is 5 amps at five volt, should be plenty. I can power it from my laptop over the same cable that sends the video signal.
