Re: Playstation Classic Controller - Any Good vs SNAC?

PS classic controller is pretty good but it lacks dualshock features - analog sticks and rumble.
Only 2 games require those features (Ape Escape and some JAP only cooking game) but they are nice to have ;)

Re: SNAC interface for PSX core

pic of my retrocastle psx snac interface Hi. How works this version?. I planned to buy one but I waiting any feedback of this hardware. this one is made to fit the retrocastle IO board and case. you can still use it with other IO board and cases, but you would need to use USB extension cables, as the PSX SNAC board will not be able to fit in flush...

really? so when you are using PSX SNAC you are limited to only 2 physical memory cards?

you probably made a bad rip, I've trided the jap version (redump from archive org) and it works fine for me

Re: Nightly Public Builds for the PlayStation Core

Is anybody having any issues with the last three nightly builds - none work for me, the Bios doesn't load. Works fine up until the first build from 2nd May, after that I just get ED and a black screen. I'm running off an external HDD for my PSX library, not the SD card.... any ideas? Have I missed something? bios file for every region is now requi...

Re: SNAC interface for PSX core

Hi Rich, I asked a while back, see here the twitter link below so it is indeed expected at some point. https://twitter.com/AzumFpg/status/1466436886843596806 We made up a very quick (hacked) PSX SNAC interface for the Multisystem User port - it's all working quite well in the new PSX Core that now supports direct PlayStation controllers via SNAC. ...

retrotink 5x has some interesting deinterlacing techniques (blend. motion adaptive), are any of them possible on mister? showcase starts at 2:50 https://youtu.be/ilsXDNaK0QY?t=170

Re: Analog Controller Sensitivity / Deadzone

You can't walk, you can only run in the first Metal Gear Solid so it's not really "true" analog control. Only option for going slow is crawling. That must be it then. To be honest it’s been a year or two since I played MGS last. I just thought I could walk in the past. Thanks for the info. I’m going to whip out my launch PS3 and see how ...

Re: Software black frame insertion option on the MiSTer to get a motion blur free image

I'm no expert but black frame insertion should double the Hz of orignal refresh rate so pal content (50Hz) should be 100Hz etc.
I wonder if universal option (like video filters) could be implemented in mister?

Re: 9.7" iPad Retina Screen Perfect for MiSTer, $60 Fully Assembled 😄

thanks for the reply! shame it stretches 16:9 content but oh well  how about 480p (4:3) does it look good on it? how well does it scale lower resolution 4:3 in general? and my last question is interlaced content (480i mainly) - does it work? What are you trying to do? 😊 The point of this screen is to give you extremely high resolutions, so yo...

Re: 9.7" iPad Retina Screen Perfect for MiSTer, $60 Fully Assembled 😄

@limi you have the hdmi + vga version or the double mini hdmi one? did you test how well it handles other resolution like 480p, 720p, 1080p etc.? As mentioned, I have the 2×mini-HDMI version, since it is substantially thinner, and can be powered over USB. You wouldn’t use those resolutions, as they are 16:9 aspect ratio (and this is a 4:3 screen),...

Still the same Edit:- also not sure if it's related but now the gameboy core is not loading either, same thing. goes back to the menu. that's weird, there should be a config file in media/fat/config if you used...
