Re: Are You Going to Re-Configure Your MiSTer Setup for Dual RAM?

The advantage from Mister is, that you could do it, if you want. For me personally this is no option. Most cores dont need it, and most Devs used this Option only at the beginning of the development. So i cant really understand the hype for it.

Re: Ethernet: A thought on a contribution

There is allready a soloution via the type of the Uart Mode. I link a short Video from Spain. https://youtu.be/-sOf0dBiiF0 There was the discussion: http://retrowiki.es/viewtopic.php?t=200037892 So I'm not sure if proper driver support for an A2065 is worth it at all. Internet with the Amiga is no real fun even on a 68060 system these days. But wha...

Setup the share Folder. This Folder is on the SDcard and seen from the Amiga. You can put Files there with your PC and can access them from the Amiga core.

Re: Open Source release of MiSTer Multisystem Console hardware all-in-one I/O design

Is there any way we could get a BOM with Manufacturer Part Numbers included? I've been working on making my own since you released the project as open source but I am not an engineer and I can't infer the exact required component specifications from the surrounding components. Some things are obvious and self explanatory like basic resistors/capac...

Think the most changes was done, to print the the cases faster and easier. But the Designs are also open, you can print the old Design self or from a company.

Re: Discussion and Development of a 'MiSTer 2.0' Modular Hardware Platform

The horse is not dead yet, it is still being ridden. Unfortunately, the area is very fast-moving, so it makes little sense to plan "too early". It should also not be forgotten that most of them have invested a lot in their Mister. You don't like to throw that away just like that. Personally, I am of the opinion that a further development ...

The Layout of the connector is the same for HDAUDIO and AC97. But the Pinout is not. Hope you get an answer and the Manual will be updated.

The Board has also an HD Audio Connector, so you can conntect it there. The Manual of the Board has no pinout for it, so you had to ask for it.

Re: Atari Jaguar Core

Do I understand correctly that 3 people work on the core, or does Rysha use Ash's base?

30 games can be started, that really wouldn't be that bad. There's actually less than 100 if I remember correctly.

Has someone tested the Tomb Raider – featuring Lara Croft | Englische Version | [SLES-00024] Version of the Game ? I found a report (German) showing a possible fix for game launch issues on PS3, which are identical to the current behavior on PSX Core. https://www.trophies.de/forum/thema/165633-fix-f%C3%BCr-dt-ps1-discversionen-von-tomb-raider-1-und...

Re: Atari Jaguar Core

I don't think there's any point in debating a CD feature as long as the core is in such a state that almost nothing is running. I'm also not sure if anyone dares to take on the project after all these years.

Re: Playstation Based Arcade Hardware

Yes, but the savestate normally had to contain only the full ram(s) of the PSX - that is less than 3 MB at all.
Think the core collect some addional data also. I am not a developer but i think perhaps can a switch for SDcard Slot 2 save some logic in the core for future use if space left gets really small.

The question is if any of those additional hardware will fit in the core and if robert perhaps is interessting about those arcade boards. The core is now about 88-90% consuming the space of the fpga.

Re: Ordering a DE10-Nano direct from Terasic a Question?

That is not completely right. The product was always available as a "normal" and as an academic version and was heavily subsidized by Intel. If you look at old brochures, you will also see various other companies that have made their contribution (parts are sold cheaper). Companies that use distribution actually have an indirect sales mod...

I'm not a software developer and I certainly don't know the connections, especially as far as the Adam or Coleco story is concerned. If everyone thought ...
