Thanks!chunky_tesco wrote: ↑Thu Oct 06, 2022 9:40 am Unfortunately the above Ali express SNAC adapter, as well as the misterfpga.co.uk one with multi tap doesn’t seem to work with the mem card pro. I’m guessing the serial port isn’t suppling enough power.

DivMMC tutorial needed
Hi all! I've searched in the official Readme of Spectrum Core, I've read this thread https://misterfpga.org/viewtopic.php?t=1458, but still I can't find a tutorial on how to use the DIVMMC feature. So far, I've copied the ESXDos files boot on a real SD card FAT16 formatted inserted in the second SD card slot either in .VHD image, renamed ESXMMC.BIN...

Re: Commodore 128 for the MiSTer?
C64 OS has just been released: https://c64os.com/ One of the "recommended" setups is C128, wonder if it would work on this core (baring the fact it's somewhat costly, especially seeing as there is no digital download option). According to the site, we would need a SD2IEC drive to begin with. Maybe it would work with an SNAC2IEC adapter l...

Re: PSX Compatibility List
Do any games still not run at this point? It seems to be fantastically compatible in my tests now. I am very surprised that Robert can keep finding things to fix. Even now its pretty much daily that he adds new updates to this core, often fixing very specific things or optimizing something to use maybe just a few CPU cycles less to make it faster,...

Re: Individually Bootable VHDs for Each Game
I will share my work-in-progress by the end of this week. Initially I had wanted to open-source the toolbox when it reaches a minimally viable state, so that it'd be at least structurally sane and usable for a minimal purpose. I probably won't achieve that goal before next Sunday. I'm now focusing on a few things: 1. Documenting things so that the...

Ao486 optimal configuration for a Svga 17" CRT Monitor
Hi there, in last days I've test the "optimal" configuration for a0486 on my 31khz CRT 17" SVGA Monitor (Lg Studioworks 700S Svga, h 30 ~ 70 kHz, v 50 ~ 160 H, resolution: 1280 x 1024 / 60Hz). My goal is to most possible close to the original Dos experience, so I've connected my MiSTer to the monitor via analog output and I've set in...

Resize a VHD
Is it possible to resize a VHD? I've tried with "IDE 0-1 Top 300 DOS Games.vhd", it is correctly mounted in Windows 11, but if I try to resize it with the GUI it says it can't figure out a minimum and maximum size and with DISKPART it says that this type of file system is not supported. Maybe there is an alternative for Linux / MacOS? Tha...

Due to said circumstances, the core is untested this time, sorry.
I also have plans to allow the Jupiter Ace core to use this keyboard, but I haven't found enough time yet.

Re: MiSTer PCXT
Hi all!
I've watched yesterday a video of The 8 Bit Guy that explains how and why CGA 4 colors looked like 16 colors in composite: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=niKblgZupOc.
So today I've used the PCXT core via composite output but I didn't get the 16 colors, maybe it has to be implemented by code in the core?

Re: Vtech Creativision / Dick Smith Wizzard
On crt? If so, and you have access to an hdmi based display, attach that, access the OSD->Audio & Video and make sure Border is enabled (On). Another option you can try that has helped others when their CRT is not sync'ing is to grab a cartridge rom, like Basic, and saving it as boot1.rom. Thanks Flandango, it works on CRT now! Booting the cor...

Request for Advice About Dual Ram Setup
Hi all! I own a MiSTer setup with analog board. I have a second - spare Nano 10 + case + usb hub so I'm considering to buy a digital board with dual ram like this (https://ultimatemister.com/product/dual-ram-io-upgrade-kit/) to assemble a second MiSTer. But is it worth it? Are there some core that don't run on dual ram setup? What problem can I hav...

Re: Launch a separate profile for Minimig
You need to create a MGL file. You will have an example below. Some elements may need to be adapt. <rbf> the path where the RBF is deployed <setname> the name of the core MGLFILE; <mistergamedescription> <rbf>_Computers/Minimig</rbf> <setname>MinimiShapeshifter</setname> </mistergamedescription> In this case the MGL file will search datas in games...
