Re: Apple //e lockup on Cannonball Blitz
Another image of note, if you like Sea Dragon, the image “seadragon.dsk” from Mame software directory apple2/seadragn.zip has the proper dah, dah, dah dah dah sound and the beginning of a life. The Total Replay version is static.

Re: Apple //e lockup on Cannonball Blitz
Finally had some time to play. If anyone is looking to play Cannonball Blitz the file “cannonball blitz (4am crack).dsk” from the Mame Software directory apple2_flop_clcracked/canbblitz.zip works! Thanks for the help. Now to remember how to get past the elevator screen….

Re: Joystick not working right in early Sierra games
I spent a couple weeks trying to get a 2 button (3 physical, 2 actual) CH joystick working with the Apple II core. The issue came down to the scaling. Far right would only get to a value around 181 and it needed to be closer to 200. The CH I have has +/- trims for X/Y. Even at extremes it did not work. The solution ended up being a close inspection...

Re: Apple //e lockup on Cannonball Blitz
Not the answer I was expecting, very interesting. Thanks for the research and response I will look in other libraries for a different dump. And yes, level 2 is brutal! One of my favorite games on the Apple //.

Apple //e lockup on Cannonball Blitz
It has been decades since I saw the elevator level of Cannonball Blitz. When the level stated the image appears and the screen froze. Anyone else have this issue? Anything to try as a fix? Damn it is a hard game… Thanks.

Re: MiSTer all in 1 Shortcircuit video disaster / LTT
The video may not present Mister FPA the same way an enthusiast would, but is that his audience? I don’t think someone is expected to go out and buy a Mister or a Multisystem just based on this unboxing. It creates awareness which is what the project needs. Even if it gets viewers to Google Mister FPGA then the video is not a disaster, it accomplis...

Re: Getting the Zapper to work
That makes sense, you need a VGA monitor that supports 15k (which mine does not). So I am thinking there is no way to get it to work at 31k. It is a bummer but at least now I understand why it does not work. Thanks for the assistance.

Using Analog controls with Apple IIe Core
From 1979 I grew up with an Apple II+ and a Laser 128 up to Jr year of college (1990) when the power supply for the Laser ended with a loud pop. After that I caved and went to PC. I was missing my old Apple setup so I bought a complete Mister. Things have gone reasonably well but I am stuck on analog controls. Anyone from this era will remember the...
