Thank you for your advice.
But I would like to know why there is no option in the MiSTer menu to mount a ROM or Diskimage. The MSX 1 core has such a menu - the MSX 2 core not. And I wonder why and if there is a method of mounting them?
The MSX2 core seems to support harddisk files only. But I have several .rom files - how to load them?
This game is missing - a really nice Arkanoid clone:

Here is a working download link:

Can anybody help out with Q*bee?
Thhe email address for D-Lo games does not exist anymore, emails can not be sent to them.
Great! Then it will be available in future for regular MiSTer users…
Is there a core in the works for Namco games like Galaga 88 and PacMania?
Nice! At the moment I’m looking for Q*bee only. Usually I like to collect everything out there as some kind of repository - that’s the reason why I like collections like the MegaAGS for Amiga.
Can somebody help out with Q*bee? Tried everything, not available anymore
Same problem here. But I noticed that even the keyboard jump does not work
Swainy wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2024 6:27 pmTry contacting the author. It’s in his interest to sell the game digitally, I’m sure that if you ask him he can arrange something: https://d-logames.es/contact/
Tried that. No answer.
Only as backorder. Can be years before release. Do not need a physical copy, digital download prefered.
Great!
Does somebody have Q*bee? Isn’t available anymore.
Then we urgently need a core update for MiSTer!
I also wanted to buy Q*bee but it doesn’t seem to be available as digital download anymore!?
That’s wonderful!
As you have a KS1 Next - what’s your opinion on the MiSTer Next core? Is it equal to the Next or are there differences?
This would be great! Where did you read this?
I would pay for this game and not be a pirate! It’s a weird thing to exclude certain customers even if they pay. That’s the reason why I ask if this lock can be removed.
Just saw that Head over Heels has been released for Spectrum Next - but only for KS2 backers! Can this restriction removed in some way? This would be just such a great game...
At least not for MiSTer
I got a KS2 sdcard. Made an image of it and it works perfectly with the MiSTer core. Firmware 1.44, Nextos 2.08. Only Core 3.02 would be cool as games like Atic Atac and certainly future games not working
On a Benq BL912 (1280x1024) the screen is really tiny (Aspect Ratio Original, Scale normal). Vertical crop is greyed out. Can only use Scandoubler FX CRT 25% to fill the screen but scaling is irregular.
I think when there would be an option to reduce the borders in steps it would fill the screen without irregular scaling.
The Detour would be interesting but there is no digital download version available
Sad for us.
Are there any servers with commercial backups for the Next somewhere?
Yes, playing the games that come as an extra for the batch 2 buyers results in a message after some minutes that these games are only for batch 2 buyers and if you want to continue to play it you have to buy them. So there must be some kind of hardware check on the Spectrum Next that allows these games to verify the computer they are running on.
If somebody has already done that or is planning to do that - please share! A collection with all programs would be very much appreciated!
Thank you for all this links!
Best would be a collection like the MegaAGS for the Amiga.
Is there any archive with Spectrum Next games online available somewhere? I’ve noticed that there are so many good games for the new machine. There are a lot of archives with games for MiSTer but I didn’t find any for the Next specifically…
