it a very basic BBC core it only works with .MMB files has no tape or Disc image support.

I wish you could just use normal disk and tape images on the mister.

Acorn BBC and master support for normal disk and tape images, at the moment it only works with mmc images.

which ini is that in then? and asume you remove the line with volumctl ?
Never mind fount it its in the MiSTer.ini file in the /media/fat folder

you can run the memory test to check it surely :- "The official memtest will show up under the Utilities section in the on-screen menu (OSD)."

Proper tape (UEF) and disc (SSD/DSD/HFE) support for the BBC Micro, MMC is a good start but not really a retro experience for the core.
