Most of the issues you describe (rotating display, no sync on scandoubling) are expected and normal when using analogue video on a 15Khz display. In that case, the core executed garbage from the SDRAM where the BIOS should be and the CPU will catch some exception for sure.

Hello i have installed the latest nightly build of the PSX core and the mister main file but i get E2 when i boot the core. According to the GitHub readme it says E2 is a CPU exception? not sure how to troubleshoot from here. Thanks!
