Re: Groovy_MiSTer Core

I think the problem is likely with my DAC. I have a Tendak HDMI to VGA converter and I've discovered that a lot of cores don't show any picture with it.

Re: The State of DACs for the MiSTer and Direct Video

I have a Tendak HDMI to VGA converter I bought in 2019 with a chipset labeled CM6616E. I don't know what the differences are from CM6616S but some cores don't work at all with this DAC. Megadrive, Genesis, TurboGrafx16, Minimig, Groovy, and a lot of arcade cores don't show any picture.

Re: Groovy_MiSTer Core

Is this core working with Direct Video? I'm not able to get any picture at all with HDMI converted to VGA, but VGA over analog IO works fine. I have a legacy analog IO 6.1 board so I wanted to try the PWM option over Direct Video and it's not showing any picture with either latest stable or testing builds.

This doesn't work either. I'm loading the core from SD so it can be updated normally, but boot0.rom and boot1.rom are on CIFS.

Re: eXoFlynn Top 300 DOS Pack Updates and Support

I've done all of these things but when I check the image mounted in IDE 1-0, I get a Missing directory error. I have to manually unmount the image, then mount it by navigating to /Games/AO486/cd/ which is now a CIFS mount point. That should be where the mounting script checks for CD images, right?

Re: eXoFlynn Top 300 DOS Pack Updates and Support

I'm trying to run ao486 with the VHDs and other images mounted over CIFS. What should the directory structure be in the CIFS mount? I have the mounts set up such that the cd/ and floppy/ directories hosted on my PC are mounted in /media/fat/Games/AO486/ as they would be if they were copied to SD, but I can't get any CD images to mount this way.

Re: Space Ava 201 Newly Released Game

It looks like there may be color reproduction issues with the SuperGrafx mode. The title screen doesn't show the silhouette from the developer's reference captures. https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/TurboGr ... issues/124

Re: Reducing CDDA Volume

I was hoping that CDDA boost feature in the new version would allow the volume to go lower and not just multiplied by 4.

Reducing CDDA Volume

Compared to software emulators, it feels like the volume of CD audio in the TurboGrafx-CD core is much too loud and drowns out the PSG sound. Is it possible to control either the audio levels of the PSG or CD to balance them?
