I went through several troubleshooting steps with Terasic before finally being given a RMA number, and I shipped the board back to Terasic at my own expense. They say "FPGA needs to be replaced." However, it would cost more to replace the FPGA than to just buy a new one... So if your DE-10 Nano is not working and you can point to the FPGA...

FYI... Mouser changed the ship date to June 26 or something. Terasic accepted an order yesterday, send me a Fedex shipping notice today. And with Terasic academic pricing (am an engineering student) the cost turned out to be roughly the same as from Mouser. Seems kind of sleazy, I wonder if all of that huge shipping cost is going to Fedex...

@HerrBerzerk I don't know if I will be receiving my Mouser backorder, also supposed to ship 19 April - but the availability now shows "933 Expected 13-Oct-23". I get file size 2438576 with the new menu.rbf but no change.

Is "socfpga_bridges_reset: FPGA not ready, aborting" at all significant? It might appear in every log for all I know but most people including logs and describing similar problems show this line.

Nothing was plugged into the DE10 for the above tests, not even the SDRAM module.

Attached USB hub for the keyboard test, F9 no response.

I haven't contacted Terasic about this but if Linux works I don't think they will want to know.

OK, tried that. First monitor was an "Arcooda" 20" - actually a LG panel with a driver card that does 15-kHz-capable VGA as well as HDMI, the Mister used to work on it. Yep - can load the .sof files as described using Quartus. For the purpose of every test described in that PDF this nano is just fine. Only I can't make it work. Is there any test that might help to isolate a fully working board from a broken one? Like a few others I have a board that can boot Linux just fine but never comes back from the reboot following Mr. Fusion's splash screen. just in case someone else has the same problem: ... You should now have the Linux desktop on your screen! The above did not help in my case. I have a DE10 Nano that can boot Angstrom or whatever the other XDKFE Linux is called first time, no issues, but Mister Fusion only ever shows the flash screen, reboots, flickers the green LED and then blank ...

Well, no boot after lots of dipswitch flipping. I guess I'm waiting on someone to restock before I play Mr. Do! again.

I think my next action might be to try some of the Intel FPGA-programming activities and see if it responds to being programmed in Quartus.

I was playing Mr. Do! a couple of days ago and the screen went black. It did not come back up after power cycle, perhaps a corrupt SD I thought? Now I don't know what's up.
