Ok I'm hearing about the Retro Castle case which should be available soon.

I'm using the misteraddons enclosure but access to the SD card is difficult. Is there a better case?

I'm actually using the Favorites script. How can I use it to launch a game this way?

HDMI to DAC to PC CRT, and VGA to RGB to BVM will work optimally with the same MiSTer config?

I'm reading that I should set forced_scandoubler=1 in order to use the PC CRT (from HDMI output in this case) but will that setting interfere with VGA output to the BVM?

Shouldn't MiSTer scale the HDMI output for the PC CRT regardless of the core resolution?

Can I connect the analog IO MiSTer to a PC CRT and BVM at the same time and play on one or the other without changing configs?

Ah yes, computer cores. That makes sense. Weird that some old arcade cores are VGA too.

Are there any cores for the MiSTer with 31kHz games suitable for a PC CRT?

I set up a new MiSTer today and added N64 to downloader.ini and updated and the controls weren't working correctly. They worked correctly with the same controllers and no config on my previous MiSTer. Could that be an issue with the core?

The N64 core was working for me a week or two ago but when I try it now I get a black screen after loading a ROM. I tried updating to the latest core from 12/20 but it's the same. All I did to get it working originally was add the db_url line to downloader.ini and run update_all. I don't have a N64.CFG file in /media/fat/config.

Ok it looks like these are a bit more fiddly than I thought.

Is there a good rotary stick controller for the Mister or Reflex Adapt?

Best rotary stick games? I definitely want to try Ikari Warriors.

It looks like NSO is wireless or USB but I'm looking to connect through Reflex Adapt for low latency so for N64 I'm thinking Brawler64 or Hyperkin Captain.

Is the OEM NES controller still reliable after all these years or should I be looking for a repro and if repro which one?

I've read about drift problems with the N64 OEM analog stick but it looks like there are replacement parts available.

I think I get it now. The signal is digital coming off of the MiSTer so you can convert it to analog with the IO board or with an external DAC using Direct Video mode.

The MiSTer on my BVM is significantly cropped on at least the top and bottom and I think the left side too. I'm using the digital io board through an HD Fury DAC. Anyone know how to fix this?

I switched from the BENFEI HDMI-VGA converter to an HD Fury and it's working! I switched the BNC cable at the same time so I want to test and be sure it wasn't that cable but I'm guessing it was the converter.

Does the analog io board produce a better image?

The signal is better from HDMI-VGA-RGB than from VGA-RGB?
