I'm assuming you're using an analog io board. Which experimental cores are you speaking of? You can have a 128mb ram without losing analog audio. What You can't do is install a second stick of RAM while using the analog io board, you would need to ditch the io board for that. Component signal ypbpr is analog so there is no lag introduced. What we're concerned with would be signal interferance/noise introduced by the cables or switch. I've got a Munt/Fluidsynth setup emulated through my PC via UDPMIDI and loopMIDI. I'm getting it to work with .D88 floppies but not with the Tonton .hdf files.
