I don't have an ironclad and have this issue over HDMI to VGA. And I can confirm that the latest nightly is working fine again.

Sorgelig might not have tested on a CRT, as they are not his focus.

The CRT VGA-Monitor is connected via an HDMI to VGA-Adapter, so I guess it "should" happen on an LCD also...

I tested the 5 latest versions of AO486 and it only happens with the newest 240528.
This sounds suspicious.. :-)

Re: 0MHz DOS Collection 2024.03.20 Released

Try temporarily disabling any video filters you have active and setting the refresh rate to 60Hz (versus variable). One or the other is likely the cause. There are no filters. It's a CRT Monitor and I need variable refresh rate for accurate vga modes. But like I said, it's only happening with the latest release so the chance might be high that it ...

Graphical errors with latest core release?

Hello,

could someone please double check? I have graphical errors with the latest core release form 240528. I tried earlier versions and they work fine.

Hi, I just found out, that this graphical issue is not just on Civilisation but on plenty of AO486 games... it is happening on Dune, Day of Tentacle a Epic Pinball e.g. I tested against a second MiSter with an about 6 months old setup and all graphics are fine here. This Picture is from Dune. Any idea what's causing this? (just the vertical lines, ...

Here's a version that uses eXoDOS v6 , plays music without the pops/clicks, uses a larger VHD for extra HDD space. https://archive.org/details/civilization-0mhz Cheers, I have a graphical issue with this version were kind of red lines are running vertically every inch or so? Is any core/script finished when you use an updater and it doesn't download anything?

No. Just means they haven't added anything new/updated it.

I asked this way because they wrote, that there will only be a very limited number of games built for the 0MHz collection and I was asking myself if the number is already reached.

Is the 0MHz project kind of finished? I didn't see new (official) games coming when I run MrChristers script.

I just always get two errors that 2 Doom MT32 versions are missing on the archive.

You can do both, the Mister Linux distribution comes with all the utilities the script needs already installed. And does it synchronize to the local folder where the script is or can I configure a folder? It will synchronize to the local directory you execute the script from. This doesn't need to be the same directory where you have the script ins...

to your path...

Is this to execute on the Mister or on a desktop? And does it synchronize to the local folder where the script is or can I configure a folder?
And what does "# Change these to GNU on macOS as BSD versions will not do" mean?

Sorry, might be very basic questions, but I've never written a script.
