Re: WWF WrestleFest Arcade Core?

Well this core has been released for the Analogue Pocket but according to Twitter it's a "Pocket exclusive"

Is there any possibility this can be ported over to the MiSTer? I don't want an Analogue Pocket and this is literally the final core I want for my collection!

Re: WWF WrestleFest Arcade Core?

This is my dream too! I made a post myself about 18 months ago and no news yet. One of my favourite arcade games and a strong contender for one of the best wrestling games ever made.

Control ist just a modfier, not a dedicated keystroke.
Restore is only working with Run/Stop together.

Ahh sorry my bad, I totally misread your edit there about Restore  In which case I can confirm that everything is working flawless out the box :D Thank you so much for sharing!

The wiring change adds the RESTORE Key to the Key Matrix.

Hmm I just set this up last night as per your repo and sadly the Restore key doesn't seem to be working. Everything else works great, Control is only registered when used in tandem with another key (which is 100% fine of course!). Is there something I'm missing?

Re: C64 Original Keyboard on MiSTer

https://github.com/venice1200/c64-keyboard-USB Fantastic work, this is exactly what I'm looking for! I've been using Keymmodore on VICE and PC it works splendidly, but less out-the-box with MiSTer (as is often the case with MiSTer) I'm going to give this a whirl over the next few days, it looks easy enough to remap should I need to. My keyboard se...

Re: COIN Mapping Ideas?

Since my last reply I've had a slight change of plan and picked up a mechanical coin acceptor mechanism from AliExpress. It's designed for USA quarters (which I have a small batch of) but I found that it also accepts UK 10p coins too, which are almost identical in size. Once I've had time, I'll get this all wired up properly and will share pictures...

Re: COIN Mapping Ideas?

I'll get some photos together when I can, absolutely! It's just a standard cheapo coin acceptor (JY-100F) with the usual 12v, ground, coin and counter wires. 12v and Ground go to their own external power supply. Coin and ground are DIY soldered to a USB cable with the sole purpose of using two of the USB pins to connect coin and ground to the Pro M...

Re: COIN Mapping Ideas?

Now that I think about it, you'd want to connect the extra COIN button/mech to USB on the MiSTer, not USB on the controller. In addition to my other reply, as far as I'm aware it isn't currently possible to use two devices as the same player input, which forced my hand in adding the functionality to the stick itself rather than the mister (which w...

Re: COIN Mapping Ideas?

Really funny you should post this, I've got the F300 elite and I've recently Macgyvered (or perhaps, Mickgyvered) exactly such a setup. I've put a Pro Micro inside the F300 and wired it up to work as a Daemonbite Arcade controller. There's a usb breakout on the Pro Micro that hijacks the regular usb cable of the F300. The Select pin and Ground on t...

Re: Arcade Coin Acceptor via Daemonbite?

Most of the arcade machine resources I found recommend adding a zener diode but none of them seem to reference adding an additional resistor. From what I gather the current isn't high enough to damage the diode so it isn't strictly necessary. I went with a 3.3v diode to match the logic of the arcade Daemonbite in this very specific use case, but a ...

Re: Arcade Coin Acceptor via Daemonbite?

Update: I got it working. Here are the steps I took: I connected the 12v and Ground wires from the coin acceptor to a DC socket for use with a 12v DC adapter. Then I ran a second wire from the ground to the ground of the Pro Micro. I connected the COIN wire directly to pin 16 ("Select") on the Pro Micro. Between COIN and Ground, I placed ...

Re: Arcade Coin Acceptor via Daemonbite?

Thank you for that! I'll look into these a little bit more, the one I'm trying at the moment is the cheapest of the cheap but so far coin registration has been absolutely perfect so I'd be happy to use it if I can figure out how to safely get my pro micro to register a pulse

Re: Arcade Coin Acceptor via Daemonbite?

That sounds lovely and simple, do you have a link to that one?

The one I'm trying out is just a JY-100F which is pretty cheap. Example here: https://www.faranux.com/product/jy-100f ... -acceptor/

Arcade Coin Acceptor via Daemonbite?

Hi all! I'm struggling with this and I'd appreciate some help! I'm in the process of setting up a DIY Daemonbite Arcade controller with Sanwa parts etc. I've got a generic Chinese coin acceptor that I'd like to use with it for the coin "button" (pin 16/B7). I can wire up the 12v ground to a 12v DC adaptor, but I gather the "coin"...

WWF WrestleFest (1991) Core

I've been keeping my eye on MiSTer developments for a while now but I've not seen any reference to the excellent WWF WrestleFest arcade game - is this something that's possible based on an existing engine or on the radar for any developers at all? Thanks!
