Re: Nintendo 64 Input Situation

Well, I have two. One is a full 8bitdo kit transplant the other just has a new analog stick.

Both are almost perfect 1:1 to the original stock stick using the controller test ROM. Definitely the best replacement I've used.

Re: N64 Core

I used the Sanni Cart Reader to dump my original carts including Super Mario 64 and its save file. Before TLB I was playing the NTSC patched version and now that I can run my dumped PAL rom the speed difference is immense! As a general aside, when is the PAL version the preferred option? Re: Nintendo Style Controllers

I've ordered one of these kits. Comes with a replacement board, rumble/battery Pak with extra buttons and a replacement hall-sensor analog stick. Standard 8bitdo connections via Bluetooth, so it'll work fine with MiSTer (I hope..!) 16_8a12580a-0b86-4853-a010-461230377d4e.png https://shop.8bitdo.com/products/8bitdo-mod-kit-for-original-n64-controlle...

Re: N64 Core

Banjo & Kazzooie runs, Tooie not. Not mine. I just get a black screen. I am running ROM (U) (V1.0) with NTSC. I don't know if that matters. Mine works fine. I played through the first five worlds on my MiSTer yesterday from the start. US byteswapped *.z64, file crc32: ad429961 ROM id: MD5: B29599651A13F681C9923D69354BF4A3 CRC1: A4BF9306 CRC2: ...

MiSTer creating new content folders in SD root and redirecting. Persists after deleting/reboot!

Hi all I've had my MiSTer for years and never had this problem before. It's starting to get beyond irritating. All of my ROM folders are within SD:/games/ and should (and always have done) load from there. However, the cores for GB, GBA, MegaCD, Neogeo, NES and SNES keep redirecting from the rom folders in /games/ to the SD card root, creating empt...
