Re: Lost Keyboard Function

To whomever has the same problem, I tried a 5 Amp power adapter with just the power splitter. It did not resolve my issue. The WD Passport hard drive and keyboard just had power up issues. To work around the problem I used a powered usb splitter (hub). I plugged both the HD and keyboard to it and connected the splitter to the Mister. That worked fl...

Re: Antonio Villena's Decapod vs Octopod

I own the Decapod and love it. It is my favorite device. It is NOT SNAC. It uses USB Deamonbyte controller chip. It is supper fast and I cant tell the difference between that and SNAC. There is a SNAC device called SNAX if you want ps SNAC. It is on Misteraddons. It also supports the light gun for ps as well. I never tried octopod so I dunno how th...

Re: Lost Keyboard Function

LamerDeluxe, I think you nailed the problem. I am using a switch for the power. It is splitter here: https://misteraddons.com/collections/parts/products/in-line-power-switch So I am confused on what to do here. Do I buy 2 power adapters one for each board? (nano and usb?) Or is there a better power switch? Sucks if I would lose a nice switch thing ...

Re: Lost Keyboard Function

Hi, I was able to fix the problem. What I did was unplug ALL controllers, hard drive, wireless, dotmatrix display, and keyboard. I Then turned on device and plugged in the old keyboard and it worked. I then plugged in drive and controller. That all worked. I assume the problem is not enough juice. I am using a 4 Amp power supply. Does anyone recomm...

Yes, I turned it off and on again. When it was off it did not work, and when I put it back on it did not work either.

Lost Keyboard Function

Hi, I made a newbie error I am trying to figure how to fix. I had a keyboard I was using with MisterFPGA. I plugged it in and was working. I hit F12 and then left. I select Remap Keyboard and hit ESC. I then lost keyboard control. I plugged in a new keyboard and it works. However, my old keyboard no longer works with MisterFPGA. How do I get the ol...

Re: Happy 50th birthday, Atari!

Our family was going through a rough time in the early 80s. We did not get presents for Christmas except for some candy and dinner. In March, the video game crash happened. The hard times were gone and we had income coming in. My Mom saw a sale on Atari 2600 games. She remembered that we did not get much of anything for Christmas. She had a 20 doll...

It does not look like the PSX has scanlines available just yet. But is it even possible with the option of wide screen?

Re: Powered Speakers for PC/MiSTer Recommendations?

Thank you for your replies. I took a little bit of advice from all of you and got this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NWLWM9B Its a Pebble (great sound but no bass) added with a subwoofer (added bass as suggested) and is 50 bucks shipped (cheap) and is powered via USB from mister. I have no idea if this will be good or not. I am just hoping for adeq...
