I resolved this by reinstalling MiSTer on my SD card. I don't know what went wrong with my initial install, but it works now.

I'm trying to run a script when booting up MiSTer. The script is called from /media/fat/linux/user-startup.sh , but doesn't seem to run when switching the MiSTer on, or when doing a cold reboot.
