Popped into the MiSTer Discord and just learned that if you do modify /etc/dhcpcd.conf to use clientid instead of duid, you can then copy the config to /media/fat/linux/ and the change will be retained during OS updates. One less thing to worry about.
Do you need to? I'm able to run it without modifying romsets.xml in any way.
Yeah I had some issues figuring this out too, it's pretty unclear. Going from memory I think you have to have the GunCon selected as your input method in the core, and then while in the OSD for that core hit F10. Each core stores its own calibration settings.
This is how mine looks too. I looked into why and it seems the provided preset/filter configurations use a copy of the 'MG Stripe (Magenta Green)' shadow mask which produces this tint. Is this intentional?
I think you have to manually map the PSX core buttons since they extend beyond the scope of buttons mapped in the MiSTer menu core.
Oddly enough I just loaded Pepsiman up the other day and yeah, Auto worked fine for me.
Code: Select all
; 1-10 (seconds) to display controller's button map upon first time key press
; 0 - disable
controller_info=0
That's all. If it's still showing up for you, make sure you made the change to the correct config profile(s) -- there are four of them.
