If this happens instantly it could be indeed related to some "auto brightness", "AI brightness" setting.

Re: AmigaVision 2024.04.04 Released with 543 New PAL Game Settings, Revision 2024 Demos
Just a little nitpick, not something missing or bugged. Parasol Kids doesn't belong into the Focused -> Arcade Ports selection. PS is an original PC-Engine game that was directly ported to the Amiga then.

Re: Truxton Arcade Not Working Anymore?
It actually works (without the need to manually replacing files), but the button mappings are messed up. Pause button is now for the credits. And credits button starts the game. With this in mind you can start the game. Needs an official MRA update i guess.

Delete the config files for this game (media/fat/config) and try again.

Re: Multiload64 Games Fail To... Well, Load [Solved]
The EasyFlash crts are working fine with the latest core, just tried it. Make sure you wait a few seconds after you've loaded some of the games.
If it still doesn't work: Make sure you've disabled additional hardware like GeoRAM, REU, hardware speederloader etc. that could come in addresses/IRQ conflict or something.

Re: OpenBOR for MiSTer
I use Mister with direct_video=1 for the most FPGA cores. Which works fine over HDMI, getting the native resolutions of the cores/games. I guess you could ask experts like birdybro on Mister discord. Maybe he can help (or others). I really don't know if something similar is possible for plain Linux stuff.

Re: OpenBOR for MiSTer
Good to know. Any luck with sending the game mods proper native resolution to scalers. e.g 480x272, over HDMI? Is maybe the meta data missing here, preventing the resolution switch?

Re: OpenBOR for MiSTer
I seems to work. But the controller configs aren't saved in the "HDMI" and "CRT" folders. You have to reconfigure every time you start a game. Actually no logs either.

No problem. The old way works with one pad plugged.
For the HDMI script: Sounds like a plan. Looking forward to test your new script then.

Re: OpenBOR for MiSTer
And they crash after a few seconds back to the Mister menu. This even happens with only one pad plugged (the one with the default control mappings), 2-Player automatically and then a crash after a few seconds playing ingame.

Re: OpenBOR for MiSTer
Ah, ok. Starting and configure works now with all pads plugged. But games that support 2-player automatically selects the 2Player mode. Very strange.

Re: OpenBOR for MiSTer
The new version is actually worse.
With all my pads plugged in the button A is registered as "down" in the Frontend Gui. And if i unplug all but one pad none of the buttons work (direction seems fine.)
I've deleted all previous configs in the "Saves" folder.

Re: OpenBOR for MiSTer
Must be a SD card space issue, right?
Any other hint why i can't load OpenBor via external SSD? I doesn't seem to be a case sensitive matter. I've copied the whole OperBOR folder to the SSD, changed the path to SSD and then started via OpenBor.sh script from SD card.

Re: OpenBOR for MiSTer
Just tried Crisis Evil RE 2. But the game quits to MiSTer menu shortly after the loading screen. Is this a space/ game unpacking issue? I have only 770MB left on my SD card (external SSD load won't work somehow).

Re: OpenBOR for MiSTer
This doesn't help i'm afraid. Still waiting on the "Setting Video Mode.. Press any key to continue" screen, and then it quits back to the MiSTer start menu.
Will check later if i didn't something wrong.
The file system is Exfat.

Thanks for the suggestion. Will try it later.
Another question: What is the correct path if i want to start OpenBor from my external SSD, which is Device usb0? Is this possible? It doesnt start (no error).
OPENBOR_HOME_DIR="/media/usb0/OpenBOR"
