Re: Commodore 128 for the MiSTer?
I'm having an odd issue. I see people talking about the D71 / G71 format disks, but when I try to mount a disk (using F12 for the system options) I see "Mount #8 *.D64,G64,T64, D81" - there isn't a D71 / G71 there, so when I go to the folder I dropped all my *.D71 images, none show up because they aren't in the filter. Is there a way I c...

Re: Quick Question on Mounting the Virtual HDD
You don't need to convert anything, just rename from IMG to VHD . Actually the image is treated in RAW format, it is not very complex. I did try that. For me it didn't work, at first I thought my IMG had be corrupted so I copied it (with .BAD extension) to my desktop and reloaded the old backup IMG with the extension changed to VHD. That still did...

Re: Quick Question on Mounting the Virtual HDD
...And replace BIOS(xtide). https://misterfpga.org/viewtopic.php?t=5533 Oh, that might be important! I did convert the IMG to VHD with the QEMU-IMG tool. I tried reading the release notes, but my tired eyes missed the XTIDE Bios update too. Thanks. I'll give that a shot. I thought I'd leaked too many brain cells not figuring this out -- actually, ...

Quick Question on Mounting the Virtual HDD
I have a virtual HDD - called it PCXTHD.IMG. It was working, I even figured out I needed a Keyboard with a number pad to get certain characters like the / and other things that map different on the Tandy 1000 keyboard. Anyway, yesterday the HDD is no longer mounted as the C: drive. I can't remember how to reconnect it, and my Search Skills are fail...

Re: Tilde and backslash don't work on PCXT core?
Currently, a numeric keypad is required to type tildes and backslashes in Tandy mode (+Tandy BIOS). This is because the keyboard layout of the Tandy is slightly different, which makes keycode conversion a bit more complicated. http://www.oldskool.org/guides/tvdog/1kfaq.html#II.E.2 This was very helpful. I was using a wireless keyboard that doesn't...

Re: Latest Version of ao486 Core Midi Input Issue
AH HA!! 3 bytes, and every time I pressed a key, of course it was 3 bytes! .... Should I be saying Duh! lol Thanks. It was so obvious I looked right over it. I did try SoftMPU, with and without. I actually started by using SoftMPU, it's in the AO486 MIDI section. I'm still missing something. Using I also installed QEMM to support SoftMPU. However S...

Re: Latest Version of ao486 Core Midi Input Issue
Thanks, I'll give that a try. I thought I'd turned off the user port (set it to com2) so the MIDI would have go to USB. Back... yeah, I left the reply window open to try. I do see the MIDI data getting the the Nano. [00406286] MIDI IN [03] --> 9b 3c 6d [00406991] MIDI IN [03] --> 8b 3c 56 The first [00406286] looks like a time stamp "MIDI IN&q...

Re: Latest Version of ao486 Core Midi Input Issue
Did you get this resolved? Your post is from March so I hope so. I just installed DOS 6.6 on a hvd for the ao486 core. I use a Roland UM-ONE mk2 USB to MIDI adapter (USB on MiSTer end, In/out MIDI plugs at the piano). I can play MIDI out through the USB just fine, but MIDI in is not being picked up. I can see the activity on the UM-ONE from the pia...
