At the moment I can't get V.3.02.00 running on my MiSTer but it does work on my Spectrum Next.

This is a shame for Mister. The latest games such as Atic Atack Remake need this firmware update to run. I hope the Next core can be updated at some point.

Re: USB Hub Occasionally Not Working?

When I first got my Mister, there was no problem with my OTG hub and attached devices, start Mister, everything recognized. Around 1.5 years ago-ish, there was a linux update and I've had the same issues ever since. I need to reset Mister to get my keyboard and usb controller recognised. I posted an issue on Github, Sorgelig replied and bascially s...

Re: Out Run Public Release Tomorrow?

Had a quick test of the new release and the core seems like it's still WIP. After one race, the Ferrari has now disapeared from my game! You can still control the invisible car, but the game track has no cars - replacing file and rebooting doesn't fix. Changing the controls to dpad, then back to analog stick, the controls refuse to change. There's ...

Re: Is it possible to make a MiSTer frontend via a front end core?

I personally hope we keep garish front ends like EmuStation far away from Mister. Mister's UI is fine, it doesn't get in the way of the games themselves. Some people appear to love front ends more than actually playing the games. The SNES had no "beautiful front end with boxart and blurred background game images" , nor did the Megadrive, ...

From what I've seen Namco 86 arcade hardware had a lot of custom chips so needs a lot of work but would be nice to have Rolling Thunder and Metrocross one day

Seems like someone is looking into it, not sure if he's interested in Mister though:

MSX2 Bomb Jack

Turns out MSX2 has a wonderful Bomb Jack port https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flfE6JqltYk, which seems difficult to run on Mister.

SofaRun and MM seem unable to boot the game from the VHD packs I have, I'm getting nowhere with using the Loadrom/execrom/romload dos via the MSX command line.

Anyone managed to get this running on Misters MSX core?

You can easily do that with a Raspberry Pi which has a dedicated composite video output. I used an app called Rasplex which streamed the video files from my PC to the CRT. It was great!

After trying out another monitor, Mega-AGS booted fine.

Turns out that an HDMI setting on my main TV required changing to ‘Graphic’ mode, or Mega-AGS gets stuck at switching to 1080i with a black screen.

Mega-AGS is now running again!

My Amiga MiniMig Core with Mega-AGS.hdf suddenly stopped booting, probably after the recent Linux updates. The core seems to want to set my TV to 1080i, then the screen goes black and Mister has to be rebooted to access the OSD. If I remove the fat/config/minimig config files for Mega-AGS, then MiniMig can boot, but unfortunately, not with Mega-AG...
