Re: Super Weird Issue on Knight 'n' Grail (C64)

If you want a alternative fast loader I always use the Action Replay cartridge rom for the fast loader. Seems more compatible and it's faster than Jiffy or Dolphin. Still has the similar keystroke shortcuts. If you save your settings with the cart loaded it's always there when you start the core The legend himself ! So you are running an act...

Re: Super Weird Issue on Knight 'n' Grail (C64)

Yeah, easyflash format would have been the better choice, I really hope someone could make it work on Mister someday. By the way, it turned out that dolphin dos was - in fact - the culprit; I switched back to the standard C64 kernel, and the game now loads properly. So yay ! Fixed ! Thanks guys for your replies; so far I'm enjoying the game quite a...

Are you using the standard c64 kernel or Speeddos??

I would try again using the standard c64 kernel

That's a nice suggestion, thanks, in fact I always used dolphin lately.
Will try that out.

Super Weird Issue on Knight 'n' Grail (C64)

I'm experiencing a super annoying loading issue on Mister FPGA when transitioning to wyvern caves. I even tried changing storage media, but nothing helps. Not only that, but I cannot progress in the game, if I press space it keeps displaying the same error. Any suggestions ? I have the Download version bought from https://psytronik.itch.io/kng , ev...

Re: OneLoad64 Games Collection v5 is here!

I have just overwritten on the old folders with new games sitting there nicely divided by letters.
Basically i created a parent folder named ONELOADV4 and inside all the rest, with a folder named MAIN with all the folders divided by letters inside for oneload .crt games. It's ok, maybe it can be an idea for the future release ;) ..

@StatMat
Thanks for your amazing work, diehard fan here.
If i can, i would suggest to go back to divide the oneload files by folders and letters, this one is a bit messy in my opinion.

Kind regards and keep up the good work !

Re: Steel Ranger : Saving Issues

I was about to quote you and reply. Found out about the C64:32 .crt format updated for easy flash. Good stuff ,i didn’t know. You might want to inform yourself about this, before you ask further questions how it's supposed to work. oh, did't notice. I never asked how the .crt is supposed to work, it is not rocket science, it is not the point of the...

Re: Steel Ranger : Saving Issues

So a little update: what i had to do in order to make the game save and circumvent the issue; still i’m searching for alternative solutions. Using DIRMASTER on Windows i copied the entire content of the .D64 Steel Ranger disk (wich had 0blocks free) to an empty .D81 that i renamed Steel Ranger ( name doesnt matter ) . Now the disk has more Than 200...

Retro-Nerd wrote: Thu Aug 18, 2022 6:24 pm It's not EZ Flash. Fierman means EasyFlash,
Same .crt is catridge. And it’s original C64 format.
Of course these Flash cards can run .crt format as they Go in the original C64 expansion slot as original cartidges did.

There is not an Easy Flash format in existance, it is still a C64 format.

Re: Steel Ranger : Saving Issues

.crt stands for cartridge. Ol’c64 could ost cartridges in its back port. It has nothing to do with Ez Flash. Maybe that card can only read Cartriges format. Yes D.64 is writeable as i used basic to write and save little programs in it. Steel Ranger is available in digital purchase as Cartridge and disk format from Psytronik website. I only use Mist...
