Hi all,

is there a way to batch convert PBP format images into CHD or CUE+BIN format so that they can be used with the MiSTer PSX core?
Preferably on Linux if that is possible... but Windows would also work.

That is interesting... I haven't heard about MGL files yet as I am new to MiSTer FPGA. I will look into this immediately. Many thanks @AngelicLiver !

Hi all,

is there a way to configure the GBA core to load my favorite game always as a default whenever the core is loaded initially? I couldn't find anything in the readme for the core at https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/GBA_MiSTer

Also, is there a way to always enable the same cheats for a certain game image?

Hi all,

I noticed that all arcade cores seem to show a short popup at after load that shows the button mapping. The time this is shown is a little too short for me to read everything. Is there a way to show that popup again or change the time so that it is shown a little longer?

I got the controller working thanks to the hint with the "B" button, but I am wondering now which button to assign to which function in Mister to get the best experience with the majority of cores. Is there a best practice/recommendation?

I have two possible settings on the TV - Auto Format and Wide Picture - available. Both show the same behavior but with Automatic Format the TV additionally tries to resize/zoom if it detects black areas which makes the situation even worse... Hi, I am trying to get my MiSTer FPGA connected to an older Philips 37PF9731D/10 LCD TV via HDMI. With the default video mode (1280x720@60) I get a picture but it is cut off on all four sides by a bit - in different cores and also in the Linux console. I tried switching to other video modes but didn't get a picture on any other, not even on the TV'...
