Maybe try swapping the dpad mode?

The default mode of the DPad on this controller is as left analogue stick. You can also:
LEFT + Select : set Dpad as left analogue stick.
Up + Select : reset Dpad.
Right + Select : set Dpad as right analogue stick.

I'm super excited for this. I have a old presentation CRT TV which is basically an 800x600 monitor that I've been breaking my head over for the past few months trying to getting my Guncon 1s to work. viewtopic.php?t=5426
I'm hoping this can end my pain.

I can't speak to the loudness compared to the stock fan because I've never had the stock fan, but the Noctua fan is very quiet. I can't tell it's even running.

I've tested with 2 different guncon guns to rule out a hardware issue and I've tried with the NES zapper as well so I don't think this is core or gun related. The guncon just illustrates the issue since with the zapper you can't really see what's going on.

I'm using the digital IO board and converting HDMI -> VGA -> YPbPr. I was able to get help on the Discord forum. Make sure you set the controller type to SNAC and not just digital or dualshock to make your SNAC setup work.

I'm using a couple of Guncon 1's via SNAX. I see a lot for information on how to get the Guncon 2 working, but sadly nothing for the Guncon 1. Can someone walk me through configuring this? I have the guns connected to the SNAX adapter via the fancy PS1 to HDMI adapters and the composite plug on the SNAX board has both gun's composite ports plugged ...

DECO Cassette System would be amazing. These things are hard to come by and had quite a few games.
