Re: Sega Saturn Core in Development

The progress are impressive and the compatibility really good (if you have the good SDRAM references)

I'm hoping for lightgun and multitap suppport (i mean, not via SNAC) 🀩

The "CRT offset" commit doesn't appear in the unstable nightly repo, we'll have to wait a bit more.

Re: MiSTer Nuked-MD MegaDrive Core

What is even more confusing is that we now have three Master System cores with different features and compatibility, that all use different rom folders. ColecoVision core : best for older games; plays SMS games that use legacy video mode , SG-1000 games and SC-3000 cartridges; has SK-1100 keyboard support SMS core : best for newer games; plays SMS...

I'll will take my decision when the new cores requiring dual RAM are available.

I'm using MiSTer on CRT, i hope the cheap DAC for direct_video are not too bad quality.

Waifu4Life and i weren't complaining, it was just an observation. (So other CRT owners know there is nothing wrong with their setup, it's just a temporary regression)

Anybody else is getting the screen pushed to the left in the Saturn core when using a consumer based CRT (YPbPr)? That's the case on CRT/RGBs also, i imagine he will work later on centering And i hope an option for H/V offset will be available, but i don't know how it would be presented since there is more than one resolution for the Saturn : 320x...

Yes, since the latest two releases (I'm using RGBs on a PVM)

Re: DIY Spinner Controller

By the way, you can add Pong to your working list (using Paddle emulation)

A long time ago i was able to play Pop'n Bounce NeoGeo with a mouse, by setting paddle control with the dipswitch, but my first test with my spinner was a fail.
Anyone manage to get it to work?

Now it works well on my CRT πŸ‘πŸ»

Code: Select all

[MiSTer]

[menu]
# Allow linux temrinal on my CRT

Linux Terminal/Scripts on a CRT [Solved]

Hi, it is possible to enable the Linux terminal on the screen by enabling the scaler and setting a CRT resolution on MiSTer.ini With this example, you can press F9 to open a console or start a script from the menu and follow the output. [MiSTer] vga_scaler=1 video_mode=640,16,88,64,240,6,5,13,12700 This works well but as the vga_scaler=1 is on the ...
