Re: Splatterhouse and a Few Others

Yes a few of those games running on System 1 were ported to PSX by Namco for the Namco anthology releases, sadly Splatterhouse wasn't.
Maybe was down to slight variances in System 1 PCB/sound chip hardware?

Re: TMNT Compiled RBF

Update: Thanks to Pixel Cherry Ninja has dropped a Youtube video covering the request.

However as Furrtek stated, he didn't get chance to add the sound file back onto his Github, so remember this isn't an official release, but there for those who wanna check everything else out.

TMNT Compiled RBF

Hi can someone here please hook me up with Furrtek's TMNT RBF, as I no longer have Quartus installed to compile it from Github.

The progress looks awesome, I can't wait to try it out, I have so much nostalgia for it, since I first saw it in my local Bowling ally circa 1990.
Thanks.

Re: Help Needed How/Where to Connect MT32-pi to Multisystem

Ok so I have managed to get the MT32-Pi working by turning the Pi power switch off, feeding power to the Pi via one of the spare front USB's on the mister (Micro USB to USB A) and altering the Pi SD config file to ignore the "low voltage chk pwr" message the Pi hat displayed previously when it was hooked up to the adjacent USB 2.0 port. T...

Re: Help Needed How/Where to Connect MT32-pi to Multisystem

Hi thankyou for the very in-depth reply and help. I have set the J17 jumper to 3.3v and SW7 to IO6 and the MT32PI is connected to the SNAC/USER port via the short USB3 cable coming from the Pi *not the Pi hat USB which is empty, but the screen on the hat is off, with seemingly no power to either Pi or hat. I have not touched the MT32PI's supplied S...

Snac port.

Hi are you sure it is to be connected to the SNAC? and not the DE-10 itself?
I read the manual yesterday, and didn't see any mention of it being useable for anything but SNAC adaptors, and obviously I don't want to risk any damage to circuitry.

Thanks

Help Needed How/Where to Connect MT32-pi to Multisystem

Re: Sega Saturn Core in Development

Hi is Saturn functionality not operational till the new core with CD fixes drops?
I tried it last night, and the SATURN disc menu didn't recognize the mounted cue-bin.
Also it used to boot the Hi-Saturn bios, but last night it just booted the regular bios, don't remember the revision.

Re: FM Towns Core

The folder name on the PC side does not matter. Create a TOWNS folder in games if you don't have it and copy the boot.rom you created in that folder. When you say create boot.rom do you mean merely create a boot.rom folder (with aforementioned files inside Games/TOWNS?) Not, create a boot.rom single file, from somehow merging the files inside of a...

Re: FM Towns Core

When Puu released the original version this is what he said: For the BIOS ROM image, create a TOWNS directory on the SD card and save it as boot.rom. Concatenate the ROM image in the following order from the top of the file. 1.DOS(512kB) 2.DIC(512kB) 3.FNT(256kB) 4.F20(512kB) 5.SYS(256kB) total 2MB. NVRAM (SRAM) will evaporate when the core is rel...

Re: FM Towns Core

Hi, is the necessary boot.rom known by another file name in a FM Towns file dump?
I don't seem to be able to find boot.rom connected to FMTowns when searching.

Lastly, what functionality does this early RBF have as of today?

Thanks.

Re: Atari System 1 & 2

Sorry I'll have to guess from memory, I do remember it was a month of may build, it obviously had worse audio reproduction though. The new core doesn't crash the game, it just pauses until the button is let go, which means any quick whip attacks cause super fast pauses which cause deaths when attacking enemies.. I'm using a 8bit do 2.4ghz pad, fast...

Re: Atari System 1 & 2

Hi just tested the latest rbf and mra's Indy still has the bug where the whip input freezes the game if held down.
This has been the case for me in all but one of the mra-core combinations in the past.
p.s I'm using Mister on a LG C9 Freesync enabled, 1440p, integer scaling, lowest lag option selected.

Thanks.

Hey all I did was load the Xsleena Qpf file from the Github source into Quartus and attempted to compile, then copied the error text.
How do I do that?

cheers.

I was surprised just how addictive this little game was, Ive had it on many Capcom compilations over the years, but playing the Mister core with no perceptible lag gives the game the 'one more go factor.

Where is the progress at as of today?
I haven't seen any Youtube/Twitter updates re Aliens-Konami hardware for a while other than him saying he was hoping to get TMNT out before the end of the year.

Im subbed upto Jotego on Patreon, so unfortunately don't have the spare $ to stay upto date.
Thanks.
