That is wild! One day would love to see it possible to use the mister cores to play on vector monitors (ie. asteroids, battlezone, etc).

If this is released, I haven't noticed it... It runs on an old Namco? core?? "Prepare to Qualify"
...
Would love to see the source released from Adam's (One Circuit) work on this previously so someone else can continue the work

I use the optical link to bluetooth dac for my headphones. Slight delay compared to wired but I don't really notice - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B083LVX89D/

No issues pulling up the map and no audio issues. My bin/cue files match your md5sums. Complete mister build from ultimatemister.com w/ digital i/o board and 2 x 128 SDRAM (2.9).
saturn core 23.10.18 and mister build 240110 (this may be an unstable build), OS v231108
Audio is run through the optical toslink on the digital i/o board.

Re: Using a 10TB Hard Drive?
I was in a similar situation with needing larger and larger sdcards, so I just put together a cheap nas solution (rPI based) and have 2 x 5tb drives in a raid1 exported as smb (/mnt/mister).

I was able to switch back to 4x on the character select screen and play for awhile, so not sure if the 4x crash is just the beginning.

Re: Centipede Speed Up request
Requesting that the Centipede 800% speedup be made part of the core that is included as part of update_all. 800% works great for the smaller egret ii trackball/spinner controller. Every time I run update_all my centipede is replaced with the version that doesn't have the 800% update (just 400%). Thanks!
+1 on Millipede core!

Re: Taito Egret II Mini Rollerball/Spinner Controller
The 800% Centipede rbf works great with this controller. Where is the github link to the modified Centipede? Has anyone requested a PR to get it merged with the mainline Centipede core?

thought about the Egret II trackball and spinner for the holidays, but not sure if it works with mister or not. Can anyone confirm its functionality with mister (or mame). Thanks!

Re: Centipede Core
I'm curious if anyone is working on the Millipede core. I know you can buy an add-on board to a millipede pcb (https://www.brasington.org/arcade/products/cm/) to play both centipede and millipede so I'm curious how similar the millipede pcb is to centipede pcb.

Re: Saturn Core Does Not Launch Games
Check that your Region setting matches the game also. For instance, I couldn't get DonPachi (Japan) working until I changed my Region to Japan in the OSD menu and reset the core.

Re: Ultimate SID Collection (As Background Music)
Thanks for putting this together, listened to this today while working. I like the mp3 format, I don't have to fire up my C64 on MiSTer. I guess if the sid files were part of it, I'd use it on a C64 also, but this was pretty convenient.

The original recommendation for the screen protector is in this post (viewtopic.php?p=74199#p74199)
The ebay link from that post is https://www.ebay.com/itm/284678842499
Make sure to order the correct size: 196 x 147 mm

save data for C64 game run out of a .zip?
Sorry if this is a noob question.
If I'm running a C64 game (ie. D64) from within a zip, where is the character and game data saved? Is there a separate file elsewhere or is the .zip changed?
Example games:
Questron
Bard's Tale
