reporting back - i blew away all the MRA & ROM files (via the update script) and set each option to no last sync
so in theory all fresh ...
same issue, so i assume its the MRA looking for the wrong ROM files, or the MRA is correct and the wrong ROM files are being downloaded.

any guesses to which it is ?

then when it was broken I tried deleting the MRA and ROMs (via the update all script options) and still not good ...
It's all good, I'll flash a new uSD

anyone else having issues with this core after the last round of updates ?

the one i bought (linked above) is OK at 5v via usb, but i had to use a 2.5A psu from a pi3 to get it to work, anything less wont fire up.

Has anyone tried powering the DE-10 via the USB port on the board? It claims it supplies 2.5A so could potentially given a suitable 12V supply powering the board. Also, the board has 'speaker out' connections, anyone managed to hook those up for sound to small speakers? I havent tried the display usb as a psu source for the de10 sound 'works' brie...

smallish crt, largish plasma, a wildly inappropriate massive ultrawide lcd, and have a ipad3 retina on the slow boat (excited to try this one out)

i have a k400r and its ok on wintel, but anything else makes the mouse feel like its in sludge.
but i havent tried it on minimig.
ill try to put some time aside to test this weekend
