Has anybody managed to get Turbo Pascal running on Multicomp? If you have, I'd really appreciate a quick set of steps. I've tried a bunch of things but TINST always hangs after selecting a terminal type and Turbo Pascal won't run. I'm using the large CPM image (Can't remember what it's called but TP is on drive C, user 3)

Re: TI-99/4A - P-Code setup question
FWIW - I figured out where my error was. I was using the wrong p-code.bin file. Put the Editor-Filer in Drive One, the Assembler and Linker in Drive Two and the Compiler in Drive Three. Link to the proper p-code.bin and throw the "use p-code" switch. For whatever reason, I seem to have to boot twice before I can use the editor. (The first...

TI-99/4A - P-Code setup question
I'm just wondering if there is a simple set of steps for getting UCSD pascal running on the TI99/4A core. I've done a little work in UCSD pascal on the Apple //e and would like to give it a shot on the TI. I've tried a couple of combinations but can't seem to get it to boot into the UCSD environment. Can anybody give me the steps that I need to mak...

Re: Multicomp & Turbo Pascal
Thanks for the reply. That crossed my mind as well - the tinst.com package did launch but I wasn't sure which terminal to pick. So I picked one at semi-random. Any chance that you remember which one I might need to select?

Multicomp & Turbo Pascal
Hi all ... I booted up Multicomp (the 21.01.13 version) for the first time yesterday because I wanted to see if I could edit a turbo pascal file of mine without dragging out my osborne. I found that Turbo Pascal 3.01 is in user section 3 of drive c of the "multicomp cpm demo disk" that someone linked to in another thread about Multicomp. ...

Re: PDP2011 port to MiSTer FPGA
I wasn't sure if I should be creating a separate thread for this question but I didn't think it really warranted it's own topic. I recently installed pdp2011 and have been stumbling around the core trying to figure a few things out. For some reason, I really want to play Colossal Cave / Adventure on this core. I've been able to get it up and runnin...

Re: TRS-80 Core problem
Thanks - Yeah, I'm glad that I figured something out. I'm pretty sure it's a proper .cas file because when I open it with cas2wav (or whatever the utility is called - I'm drawing a blank) it shows the program in the window and "plays" it properly to a real Trs-80 model III. Also, it will load in trs80gp when I'm using a model III - so I s...

Re: TRS-80 Core problem
Thanks for the reply! I appreciate it. Yes, I have tried it with a simple "CLOAD," too. All it does is show me two stars in the top corner of the screen. It's a program that I wrote so it's not actually available anywhere. I was having problems loading it in the model I emulation in trs80gp too, so I suspect it was something on my end / h...

Re: TRS-80 Core problem
Also - and I'm not sure if this is of interest to anybody (it's probably known but I figure it couldn't hurt to put it here) but I was able to get the core to use level 2 basic by installing level2.rom and renaming it BOOT.ROM.

Re: TRS-80 Core problem
Hi - I registered yesterday so that I could ask about something like this, too. Has anybody successfully loaded a .cas basic program? I've been able to load the included .cas files but can't seem to "cload" a basic program. The program was originally written on a model III so it's recorded at 1500 baud and I've tried a couple of utilities...
