[...]If not on their own merit, then at the very least as a gateway to the Atari TT and Falcon, NextCube, or bigger Macs like the Centris or Quadra lines, Sun 3/80 workstations or even some early SGI gear. That´s correct. There is an option to select 25/50/75% scanlines in scandoublerfx, though. I personally choose the 25% option with a very pleasant result, the others darkend the image too much for my taste.

Does anyone else have problems with the default controller settings? I cannot do anything in any of these games, I have to manually set the controls for each one, and even that doesn’t really work, I can’t get past the title screen for most games! That´s weird. I´ve just configured the controls once and then they work for the rest of the games fla...

Re: CRT TV vs LCD Gaming PC Monitor

I´d stick to the CRT for almost all arcade, console and classic computers. Just not because that's the type of screen they were designed for but, at the same time, for perfect scrolling. If you want to use only one screen maybe you can get a cheap VGA CRT monitor nearby.

Of course try the Asus LCD first. Maybe you are comfortable enough with it.

I thought I'd post here to see if anybody can shed some light. I tried the ST pinball game "Obsession", and there is a significant delay between pressing a key and the flippers reacting. I'm hoping this wasn't present in the original game - the Amiga version running under the Minimig core has no such problem. I haven't tried much else on...

Public cores stay untouched. When a beta core gets public, no need for a key anymore.
