Re: Amiga 68030/40?
[...]If not on their own merit, then at the very least as a gateway to the Atari TT and Falcon, NextCube, or bigger Macs like the Centris or Quadra lines, Sun 3/80 workstations or even some early SGI gear. Not everything needs to be about gaming all the time. Getting an accurate core of Atari TT, Falcon, 040 Macs or NextCube would be a major break...

Re: What video_mode for Minimig for a Svga CRT monitor?
That´s correct. There is an option to select 25/50/75% scanlines in scandoublerfx, though. I personally choose the 25% option with a very pleasant result, the others darkend the image too much for my taste.AmintaMister wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 10:10 am Thanks! Problem is, if I'm not wrong, that if I use the scandoubler I can't use the video processing (filters, shadow masks etc), isn't?

Re: SEGA 16 Public Release
Does anyone else have problems with the default controller settings? I cannot do anything in any of these games, I have to manually set the controls for each one, and even that doesn’t really work, I can’t get past the title screen for most games! That´s weird. I´ve just configured the controls once and then they work for the rest of the games fla...

Re: CRT TV vs LCD Gaming PC Monitor
I´d stick to the CRT for almost all arcade, console and classic computers. Just not because that's the type of screen they were designed for but, at the same time, for perfect scrolling. If you want to use only one screen maybe you can get a cheap VGA CRT monitor nearby.
Of course try the Asus LCD first. Maybe you are comfortable enough with it.

Re: Video distorted when using Direct Video
all I have done is set the line in the ini to directvideo=1 all the other cores are fine, the zx spectrum has a distortion on the top of the screen like its out of sync. i have a standard hdmi to vga dongle and a standard Mister VGA to Scart cable direct into my Sony CRT. Try enabling/disabling composite_sync. I remember the same behaviour when I ...

Re: DOOM Enemy Behavior?
Yup, it seems to be resolved, I was very happy to see this edge case ironed out! :) Indeed! Although it makes me a bit worried about what other similar edge cases might exist but have not yet been identified because no one with good knowledge of how these games operate may have played them enough or at all to notice. :? In any case these will be f...

Re: Obsession Keyboard Delay
@Hodor, Same for me I did not notice any significant lag on the ST, comparing to PD on Amiga, the game play is different I feel PD much more realistic but this is not due to the Mister, this is due to the game itself. I was not able to make the trial on my real ST for the unique reason that the disks that I wrote via my PC were not working, I did ...

Re: Obsession Keyboard Delay
I thought I'd post here to see if anybody can shed some light. I tried the ST pinball game "Obsession", and there is a significant delay between pressing a key and the flippers reacting. I'm hoping this wasn't present in the original game - the Amiga version running under the Minimig core has no such problem. I haven't tried much else on...

Re: PlayStation MiSTer Core Repository Created
A Bit of "bad" news regarding the core is that for sound we might need a dual sdram setup for the first full release anyway. It might be redirected on the DDR3 in an updated version but this was not a promise, sounded more like a hopeful thought. My qestion though, is how would that work with custom build, I have Antonio Villena's Mister...

There is a pull request merged 20 hours ago in the official Mister repo. Maybe it has something to do with this issue.ryosanisback wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 2:32 pm Hey hey

Re: CPS 2 Release to Public ?
[...] Does anyone has a list of all the roms >= 32MB? There is a list in Jotego´s repository where you can easily find what games need more than 32MB: https://github.com/jotego/jtbin/tree/master/mister/cps2 However, being under 32MB on that list does not guaranteed that the game works flawlessly. For example, 1944 sums over 29.5MB but shows graphi...

Re: New distribution system for Jotego cores
No, the key will probably work only while you are patreon.
Public cores stay untouched. When a beta core gets public, no need for a key anymore.pacoarcade wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 7:17 pm Does this apply to public cores too? would my MiSTer system get the jotego cores wrecked if I run the script not being a patreon?
