Re: RS-232 (9 pin) serial mouse connection to MiSTer running ao486

Thanks for your prompt response, but I prefer to take advantage of the old clone joysticks from the late 80's and 90's which are much better quality than modern usb joysticks.

Re: RS-232 (9 pin) serial mouse connection to MiSTer running ao486

Sorry for the off, but I ask: is it possible that this adapter: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000680055332.html work in MiSTer? I am looking for a joystick like the Sega Genesis or Famicom clones to work on the system and allow me to map the buttons on each core. I know there are options like SNAC or DIY something with Arduino, but I just have t...

If possible, could we add the V flip option for vertical monitors as well? Thanks.
I join this request, since I have the updated core but I can't find the function. Was created?

Thank you all so much for this great game!

Re: Change core clock from 59.18 hz to 60 hz

There is nothing to activate as both aes and mvs have their timing set to 60hz. However what I could do is change the timing only on the mvs. This way 60hz be toggled by using the menu. That's good because I just like the MVS arcade experience and I play that way. Can you tell me a couple of games where at 60Hz the change is noticeable? Whether fo...

Re: Change core clock from 59.18 hz to 60 hz

Thank you very much for this work! I have some questions: 1. When I access this modified 60Hz Core, is there something to "activate" in the options? 2. What are the games where you can feel the difference with 60Hz? I am using a Dell LCD 17" FP1708FP 1280x1024@60Hz monitor with DVI to HDMI output. I would like to do some tests well a...

Re: DE10-Nano Died After Accidently Unplugging SD Card

I would do the whole process from scratch: MicroSD correctly formatted and start the setup from scratch. As you have been told, and I share, it looks like only the files were damaged. The other day it was my turn to get scared since I turned on MiSTer and it did not give a video signal nor did the IO lights blink; it was that the MicroSD was connec...

After doing all the button mapping, are you saving the settings? Anyway, I have a problem that may be related: Although I map all the buttons, including the one in the "ABC" sequence, it doesn't work when I start the game and therefore, it doesn't enter the UniBios menu. This I solved it leaving in Input: "Joystick" instead of &...

As a first move, in my experience, you should look up games with NES 2.0 headers. I had a bunch of issues with my older sets, almost all solved by starting to use such dumps. How can you tell if your game has NES 2.0 headers? is there a program that will tell you? Check this: NES Mapper Reader / Rom Fixer / Rom Splitter Programmed by: Shawn M. Cra...

Make sure you mister is up to date. Python3 was added in the last update to linux. You can also use Python2 if you have older linux.
