Re: archive.org folder synchronization script [0mhz-dos]

Thanks for this script! I am getting this error though: curl: (60) SSL certificate problem: self signed certificate in certificate chain Follow the directions here to install missing certificates on your Mister, or run the script (I just updated it) with --no-check-cert . If you are running it on a Linux distribution other than Mister, there's usu...

Re: 0MHz DOS Collection 2024.03.20 Released

Is someone able to seed the torrent on archive org? Ive downloaded it to my NAS where ill leave it for sharing but ive been stuck at 28.64gb for a day now, just need the final bit to seed it myself properly in future. To be honest things move so fast with the project I wouldn't bother with a fixed torrent, it'll be out of date in less than a week....

Re: archive.org folder synchronization script [0mhz-dos]

Is this to execute on the Mister or on a desktop? You can do both, the Mister Linux distribution comes with all the utilities the script needs already installed. And does it synchronize to the local folder where the script is or can I configure a folder? It will synchronize to the local directory you execute the script from. This doesn't need to b...

archive.org folder synchronization script [0mhz-dos]

Hey folks, I hacked this up today for my own use. It will synchronize any item folder @ archive.org (default is 0mhz-dos) with a local directory. Unlike the other download script I saw mentioned here, it doesn't need to parse XML, works for any archive.org folder not just 0mhz, does not use the 0mhz git repository, but instead fetches the current s...

Re: Depricated.

Hi. What's the current status of this project. All i've been reading about in this thread (skimmed a lot granted), is problems loading games. I read about the ISOs not working, then getting fixed in the core. Is this correct? How many games are included in this "top 300" that still don't work today? Why were they included if they don't w...

Re: One Must Fall 2097?

Be glad the Mister is saving you from having to play the game :)

OMF2097 must be one of the best beatemups ever created for any platform. It's a game that's firing on all cylinders. Super fluid feel, amazing music and very deep mechanics.

I've been playing it since the 90s and can still spend hours and hours with it.

Re: 0MHz DOS Collection 2024.03.20 Released

If possible, a big improvement re: packaging would be to keep the configurations (MGL, CFG) separate from the game .zip files, maybe in a single zip for all game configurations as the size is very small. That way, frequent configuration changes (e.g. for bugfixing) can take place without one having to redownload the entire game.

Re: One Must Fall 2097?

Disabling L2 cache makes the game crawl. There's no need for that as it works perfectly with dos32a.
