Still reading through the thread and looking at the code in /usr/sbin/btctl, but I'm not overly familiar with python or the APIs involved...

I see a couple different 8bitdo adapters, brown or black, some with a "2" on them. Is there a particular one to chose?

I just received a new 8BitDo Pro 2 with the hall effect joystick but can't get the controller to pair with the MiSTer. The controller is detected and pairing is attempted but fails: Switch input devices(s) to pairing mode. Press Finish when done Searching... NAME: Pro Controller MAC: E4:17:D8:xx:xx:xx Pairing... Type 0000 and <Enter> Authentication...
