Re: Sony Trinitron CDP-15SF2
I normally play on a consumer CRT TV, but once in a while I'll run it on a 4K HDMI monitor. Right now I only have one mister.ini, no alts, but given that I have more than one CRT monitor now, I should probably be setting those up. I tried different video modes, but no results. *EDIT: Forgot to answer Bengo's question; yes I have an IO Board. Here's...

Sony Trinitron CDP-15SF2
I just found this monitor in some things from a relative who had passed away some time ago, and decided to see if my MiSTer would work with it. It gave me an error message of "OUT OF SCAN RANGE". I don't have a lot of experience with older PC monitors, and this one is from 1996 so it could be an issue with the monitor for all I know. Do I...

Re: Wi-Fi not starting reliably
I've been using a CanaKit USB WiFi dongle for a few months now, and it had been working just fine up until today. For some reason, I can't connect at all anymore. All the login details in wpa_supplicant.conf is correct. Are the CanaKit dongles known for crapping out like this?

This fixed my issue! Thanks Diaclone!DiacloneFX wrote: ↑Wed Jun 17, 2020 10:03 am I had exactly the same issue.
For me the problem was that I had this settings in my MiSter.ini:
Now to get this to show on my CRT, which is another thread.

Re: MiSTer Wallpapers
I used to have one of the default backgrounds, but after an update a few months back, it vanished. I created a custom background, named it menu.jpg, copied it to the root folder, but I still get static even after spamming the F1 button. Is there anything that could be interfering with this? I mostly use my MiSTer on a CRT, but I'm testing on a mode...

Re: Converting CDD/IMG Disk Images to CUE/BIN
The PC Engine games are pretty sensitive to timing, so TurboRip was written specifically to ensure that reassembly into an image would match original timing, and a table-of-contents database constructed by hand from all discs. Is this why a patched version of Ys IV won't convert properly with TurboRip, or should that matter? Since the same guy cre...

Re: Converting CDD/IMG Disk Images to CUE/BIN
Well this is how much of a PCE newbie I am; I wasn't even aware Game Express had a custom bios card for their games.
That was the issue. It's working now, thanks Gojira!

Re: Converting CDD/IMG Disk Images to CUE/BIN
Mount the image you want to convert in daemon tools and then use turborip https://www.ysutopia.net/forums/index.php?topic=69.0 This works Just tried this with an .iso file of Hi-Leg Fantasy (yeah I know...), and it just spat out another .iso with .wav files and a .cue. What's the best way to convert this into .bins? Why would you need .bins ? MiST...

Yes, thank you guys so much for your hard work. I've been glued to my seat playing all the imports I always saw in EGM as a kid and never got to play.
Hell, I prefer it over my original US TurboDuo if only for the fact that it looks so much better on my CRT via RGB. That and less hassle dealing with limited save file space.
