Thanks for this. I haven't used an Apple II since 5th grade or so and I thought they were so lame and outdated at the time

Re: MiSTer Feature Expansion Idea

Well, you could definitely follow the progress of RobSmithDev on YouTube. He got an Amiga floppy working: https://youtu.be/_MYw0lLerBA Definitely possible, just ask yourself - is it worth it to have that many disks floating around? I for one would be happy with disk "sounds" 😁 Disk sounds are amazing. That's one the of reasons why the Ul...

Re: Neo Geo Pocket

Man, this system must be the hardest ever considering the time it's taking. I mean we got a PS1 and N64 core since it's announcement. If you give it to Robert Peip, he will do it in 2 months tops Both of you shouldn't act so entitled and toxic. Don't see what's entitled or toxic about our posts. How about you get-off your high horse instead? Yeah ...

Re: Are You Going to Re-Configure Your MiSTer Setup for Dual RAM?

I don't know if this helps but I have three MiSTers and they all have the very first version of the 128M when it first came out. I haven't noticed any problems with audio or gameplay for almost all the way through Albert Odyssey. It's easy to switch between them with a shared save files with RetroNAS but I digress The music problem isn't with all ...

Re: Are You Going to Re-Configure Your MiSTer Setup for Dual RAM?

BS. Works fine on my 2.5 RAM. Zero problems. a) You'd literally be the first on this forum to say so. b) I'd be shocked if, at minimum, you weren't experiencing missing music in places/games you haven't noticed or played. I don't know if this helps but I have three MiSTers and they all have the very first version of the 128M when it first came out...

Does the 8bitdo conversion kit also work wired or only bluetooth? Works fine over usb wired with MiSTer. ------------------------------------- Nice kit, I like the lower shorter throw stick vs. the original. Thought I had a bad board at first, couldn't program camera up and left, wasn't til I plugged controller into windows box and saw that the ca...

It's too bad it doesn't have a number pad but in our MiSTer world it's not needed. I'm sure this keyboard works fine but I would also like confirmation

That's because you suck. Just kidding but seriously cheats work for me but you need to start the actual game play on level 1 and then enable cheats. I used "Infinite Lives P1 [raw] and then you can cheat away

Hey I just want to say I appreciate this play list. There is no doubt that the C64 has best chip tune. Nothing beats that sid chip (I can't tell the difference between the breadbin and the C64c) but some do come come close.

This is a great addition and very useful. I do have a question though that I noticed looking through the menu. How is it possible that all MiSTers have the same MAC address? That seems really strange as MAC address are supposed to be unique per device. I have three MiSTers on the same VLAN. Can anyone else elaborate on this? My understanding is th...

Re: Magnavox Odyssey (1972) Core - The 1st console

This core would be pretty cool. It could have overlays in the same manner that the Vectrex uses them. It doesn't really matter if it's a real game "console" as it is an electronic device you connect to your video display to play games. The idea with FPGA is to preserve original hardware is it not?

Re: update_all From Computer?

When the original updater script first came out the only way to use it was to ssh into the MiSTer and run the script. It really was a game changer. We used to have to manually update everything. Just use Putty, it's free and a very basic terminal emulator
