Re: Does the Saturn video output support a component cable?
We are talking about Mister Saturn. I wanted to connect MISTER to the component output of my TV, but mister never gave out a picture, although there is a component mode on the switches, but it only has a green color but in high resolution. The Saturn core provides analog video out if using the analog board. I have a DE15 to component breakout cabl...

Re: Does the Saturn video output support a component cable?
Talking about the actual Saturn console? If so, it does composite, s-video and RGB. If you're talking about the Saturn core on MiSTer, then I would assume it can do component if you have your mister.ini file set correctly. We are talking about Mister Saturn. I wanted to connect MISTER to the component output of my TV, but mister never gave out a p...

Re: MiSTress - Conversion Kit for Amiga cases
Curious if 8bits4ever is going to do another run of the MiSTress 500. They don't seem to have anything in stock on their website and I've received to no reply from the contact us form there.

Re: Perfecting Vectrex Overlays
Very cool, @alanswx. Hoping that making Vectrex overlays super high-quality and accessible will rekindle interest in this awesome console. Careful what you say about your skills, because next request from me is going to be an opacity/transparency setting for the overlay like the software emulators have :-) Like being able to rotate the display. :)

Re: X68000 Beta - Updates and Releases
I'm getting nothing but jumbled static on my screen... X68k.rom is in the computer folder on the SD card games on my hard drive... Me too. Unfortunately nobody has responded. Very strange. I posted this question on the discord server and was told that the core currently only runs properly at 800x600 resolution because the core has not had the stan...

Re: MiSTer Multisystem - All-in-One System
This looks really cool, very nice work! Sort of similar to the MiSTix ITX board being made by Edu Arana, but more of a focus on making it a "console" instead of a "computer". Definitely looking forward to this going on sale.

Thanks for the core Ace, it works perfect! I had never played the arcade version -- only console ports -- so I'm looking forward to putting some time on this one.

overlays are already supported. the GitHub repo has them for download. just put the .ovr files in the same dir as your roms.

Re: Vectrex Overlay Autoload?
In the vectrex directory on your SD card where you put your games (.vec files), put the overlays (.ovr) files. Make sure they have the same name as the game ROMs (e.g., Bedlam.vec and Bedlam.ovr).

Sounds like these are much better quality than those SNK Neo Geo X controllers.

Played through level 4 of Cadillacs and Dinosaurs with no issues. The qsound is awesome through the Roland MA-8 speakers hooked up to my MiSTer. Looks like a solid beta!

someone could make an adapter like the ones being made to fit a MiSTer into an ITX case.

Re: MiSTer in the Commodore 65 / MEGA65 wedge case
These are cool looking cases and the diskless version is a great idea. Agreed that they could make nice homes for a MiSTer.

Platoon on C64 core?
Hi all - can anyone confirm (or deny) if the game Platoon works on the C64 core? I've tried a few releases (all d64s) on the MiSTer and none of them work. The same d64s work on the Ultimate64 and VICE. If someone has the game, could you please try it and lemme know your results? thanks!

A rotate feature would be great for this core so the aspect ratio is more like the original.

IIRC, the Neo Geo mini is much too small for the DE-10 board.

Bought several doodads from misteraddons.com and yeah, his stuff is quality. Items were quickly shipped, nicely built, and works great. Super friendly support too. Gonna go buy an RTC module from him now.

Re: New MiSTer hardware board
Rather than making an entire replacement board for the DE-10, why not design a Mini-ITX board that can host the DE-10? The Mini-ITX board could have a powered USB hub with audio, video, and USB ports on the back, and a way to use an SFX power supply (or DC adapter) to power everything. Then the DE-10/MiSTer could be mounted on the board and placed ...
