Are you using a HDMI to VGA cable? Seems unlikely with a HDMI monitor. So please disbale the VGA_SCALER option.

Will the installer grab the latest 2.6 version of ScummVM or does it need to be modified?

Re: The Settlers
From CLI you can force the map size according to the manual:
-mx: Force mapsize x
X is a number between 1 and 8. It indicates the size of the games world.
The program has a size 3 world by default, because this is the size of world used for the training scenarios.

Re: The Settlers
What hd installer are you using?
0.5 chipmem and 5mb other ram.
http://whdload.de/games/TheSettlers.html
Maybe latest patch broke map size since latest patch was written from scratch. Try with 1.1 instead.

What system? It is most likely a combination between the output signal and your used monitor.

Re: USB Hard Drive Problems
I have a few spares laying around. My WD Blue 2.5 drive (WD5000LPVX) seems to work much better. It does not make any noise. I can even format an Amiga partition with it which was impossible using the Hitachi drive. It does seem to make a difference.

Re: USB Hard Drive Problems
I use the same PSU as you and the hub board's red power LED at the back (between the two power only ports) is on. With this 6A PSU it is getting more than enough power. The standard externaly powered hub that I use with my secondary MiSTer gives me no such issues with the drive, thus I would assume a deficiency in the USB hub board's power distrib...

Re: No picture in SNES direct video mode
Thanks for getting back to me. Unfortunately not a reliable picture either with forced_scandoubler=1. At some point it output 720x480, but it's not stable. Could it be a SDRAM issue? Mine fails at the 48Mhz Jotego test. 96Mhz works fine though. This is the basic config I use: [MiSTer] ;VIDEO MODE video_mode = 0 ;VIDEO SETTINGS menu_pal = 0 dvi_mode...

Re: No picture in SNES direct video mode
Update on this. Some other cores don't work either in direct_video=1 mode. The Minimig core works fine though. Everything I trow at it just plain works. Even the weirdest resolutions. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know.
Also tried a different hdmi to vga adapter (Logilink), same result. Work fine with direct_video=0

Re: SCUMMVM
Themes need to be zipped and every scummvm version needs his own theme version. If you use ScummVM 2.2 you can install the windows version of 2.2 and copy the themes over to the themes path you set in Mister ScummVM. Hope this helps.

@flynnsbit I love all the automated stuff. It's great! I just want to let you know Rebel Assault is really slow. I can't remember it being that slow in loading. The game itself runs fluid as I remember it. Keep up the great work.

Hello Sorg would it be possible to add support for this opensource DIY Cartridge reader: https://github.com/sanni/cartreader in any off the cores? Would be so cool if we could use original cartridges / floppy's etc. with Mister.

Re: List of Core Requiring BIOS Files
It has nothing to do with a naming convention. Let's look at the example above: sp-s2.sp1 (MVS) and neo-epo.sp1 (AES) are the original bios versions for MVS/AES. That's great to know, but there are a dozen files named like this, some good, some bad, some malware (Yikes!). How do we know we have the original files? This is weere the hash comes in. S...
