Re: Core Sizes?
How it was made:
Download Quartus, download the core, open the .qpf, and press the green triangle. The output_files folder has a txt file that lists utilization.

Probably not. Maybe MT-32, but I don’t want to speak for Mr. Emu, who is doing the actual work.
Most people had a Soundblaster equivalent, that’s what’s going to trigger their nostalgia. Anyone that knows what a MT-32 device is can probably find their way around the setup menus and save that as their setup.

Re: 0MHz DOS Collection 2024.03.20 Released
Thanks! Filed as https://github.com/0mhz-net/0mhz-collection/issues/14
There are bound to be issues, there’s a lot of different configurations.
Ideally report them directly in the issue tracker, and we will get to them: https://github.com/0mhz-net/0mhz-collection/issues

Re: 0MHz DOS Collection 2024.03.20 Released
In AmigaVision, we use the /shared
drive to communicate between the core/scaler and AmigaOS. ao486
supports the same kind of shared drive, I think. Anyway, seems like this should be its own new topic

Yes, think of it as a 486SX. Probably won’t run that game, certainly not well if at all.

Re: Would Like to See Supersprint Core
You show Super Sprint, the capable-but-not-quite-the-arcade Atari ST port to Amiga. Try Turbo Sprint on AmigaVision/MiSTer instead to get something closer to the arcade
(Of course, the GameCube had better have a perfect port, being of a much, much later generation)

Re: AmigaVision (MegaAGS) 2023.12.25 Released with Updated Game Configurations
This will be addressed in the upcoming AmigaVision release, for the record. PAL60 has generally been reset to PAL50, and I will selectively apply PAL60 or NTSC settings where it makes sense (DOS ports, Atari ST ports, US game studios), as well as 5×PAL scaling presets for games that were previously PAL60.

Fantastic! I’m also happy to help test, especially since I am familiar with AHI/Toccata from owning an Amiga with it back in the day, and also because I want to add AHI support to AmigaVision. Just send me a direct message here (or on Twitter) if you want more testers.

Be careful about flashing other firmwares on it. The display sold by Laserbear is a different board, as far as I know.

No problem at all! rsn8887 is helping out, I will reconfigure the list of games we can discover. And as usual, even if you only find a single game that runs at the wrong speed, report it at https://amiga.vision, and we will get to it.

Re: AmigaVision (MegaAGS) 2023.12.25 Released with Updated Game Configurations
If you grew up with the NTSC versions, I’m guessing your best bet would be to look up the games on YouTube and make sure the music is not playing too fast. I can take care of identifying graphical glitches, as I know most of the Amiga library.

Eventually, you will end up using Python (hello from AmigaVision, where everything is either Python or AmigaShell)

Re: Amiga 16-bit AHI audio support
This is fantastic! Thank you so much for embarking on this, the last “missing piece” of the late-stage Amiga owner setup (Amiga 4000 + RTG + AHI)
Hopefully we can get it added to MiSTer.

Great, much appreciated. And yes, Puzznic definitely seems to have the wrong configuration. File bugs, and we will get it fixed.
