Re: Amigavision/Minimig - Controller Setup Problem
Have you set it up outside of the core?
https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Wiki_Mi ... ck-Mapping
Also, does it work on e.g. your PC/Mac?

This has now been merged into the Minimig

Re: AmigaVision 2024.04.04 Released with 543 New PAL Game Settings, Revision 2024 Demos
Yes, apologies if I was too terse in my response. If you are using a 1440p screen, you should add the relevant default resolutions under the [Amiga]
section, and replace the 1080p default PAL/NTSC settings. The 5× Dynamic Crop/Scale only applies when you use 1080p (or, by extension, 4K) output.

Re: AmigaVision 2024.04.04 Released with 543 New PAL Game Settings, Revision 2024 Demos
The offsets we include should only apply to 1080p (and by extension, 4K), not for any other resolution. Unless there’s a bug in the core that we are unaware of.

Modification time would work as well, yes — I am not familiar with the APIs here, so I will leave the implementation to the ones actually writing the code

There’s already a fork (possibly several) that do this. But yes, it was proposed and rejected from the main project.

Re: 0MHz DOS Collection 2024.03.20 Released
One of the main points of the 0MHz DOS Collection is that it’s split up. You will never need double the space of however many games you download to unpack the games — just whatever the largest single game is.

Boot into Workbench, start Directory Opus, go to the AGS2
folder and delete any entry you don’t want.

Re: Core Sizes?
How it was made:
Download Quartus, download the core, open the .qpf, and press the green triangle. The output_files folder has a txt file that lists utilization.

Re: 0MHz DOS Collection 2024.03.20 Released
Probably not. Maybe MT-32, but I don’t want to speak for Mr. Emu, who is doing the actual work.
Most people had a Soundblaster equivalent, that’s what’s going to trigger their nostalgia. Anyone that knows what a MT-32 device is can probably find their way around the setup menus and save that as their setup.

Thanks! Filed as https://github.com/0mhz-net/0mhz-collection/issues/14
There are bound to be issues, there’s a lot of different configurations.
Ideally report them directly in the issue tracker, and we will get to them: https://github.com/0mhz-net/0mhz-collection/issues

Re: 0MHz DOS Collection 2024.03.20 Released
In AmigaVision, we use the /shared
drive to communicate between the core/scaler and AmigaOS. ao486
supports the same kind of shared drive, I think. Anyway, seems like this should be its own new topic

Yes, think of it as a 486SX. Probably won’t run that game, certainly not well if at all.
