Since the Linux updates a few months back , can’t remember when it was now a few months back, the usb problems ie wifi dongle not working when rebooting , and 8 bit do not connecting - it’s all been rectified. It took a few Linux updates whatever soreleg did has resolved it !

Leaving the arcade roms alone so they will stay on the sd card . I have ordered a portable hard drive see how that goes

Help needed , looking back at jca’s posts. I have a usb stick so I can put some cores on that as run out of space on my sd card. Can this be done ? I only want to store the psx games. I still can’t get this to work . I get the core menu up when i press F12. I have found a rom zerowing1. Renamed it to .zip, placed in mame folder . Rbf and mra places in usual places.. still nothing. Work constraints meant I keep trying when I get 2 mins . Will have a proper go later

I think I have to get a different rom set as most of the tapes I load will not work but yet some do. I always try to use dragon 32 with the earlier games. The reset and reboot is hit and miss but the original hardware didn’t reset fully unless powered off ? I haven’t been successful in getting a cuthbert game to load as yet .. Any tips to use cload...

I got the Mra and rbf latest from GitHub. I understand update all now looks for the mame file .. but I get a black screen . I can see the zero wing core menu but the game won’t load any idea ? Do I need to rename the mame zip after it’s downloaded from update all to zerowing1.zip ? Many thanks and for bringing us this game to mister !!

You need to
Assign the controller on the front mister screen .. where it shows arcade , computer , consoles .. that part . Then it will work

So I grabbed [MiSTerFPGA] Sharp X68000 Starter Pack when booting I get a blank screen. I notice the images are HDFs when the github asked for HDDs and FDDs. Does this matter? I got it to work - pacland in all it’s glory . Not so obvious to get this to boot- knowing where files go , it does now - thank you. Breaths new life into mister !! The sharp x68000 looks so detailed, amazing

I’m having issues last few days - found and reading back this .. usb hub and the wireless adaptor sometimes doesn’t work then does etc.. now the 8bit wired controller is playing up . So I will try the combinations mentioned and report back ! I thought it was to do with the recent Linux updates. But My wifi dongle has always played up . Powering up ...
