Re: X68000 beta - stopped working all of a sudden

Is MIDI output possible easily at this stage on the core? Midilink on MiSter is pretty incredible :) Don’t see why not... be good to sort out 15khz video output... 24khz down to 15khz would also be nice somehow? Wouldnt that fall under MiSTer framework? That is, scaling? I think even ao486 cannot run 31khz things on a 15khz natively - people use d...

MT-32 with Munt

Please can someone guide on how to use Munt? I can get Midi out using Remote UDP using UM One on SC88 Pro.
However when I try to change it to Munt / Soundfont I get no sound.

I have updated Munt using the script yesterday and the script confirms that Munt bios and soundfont bios is present on my system.

Do you have ITF rom on same machine?
Sent you a private message (hoping it reaches you!)
PVT messages arent leaving the outbox for some reason. I tried sending puu-san a pvt message before posting here.

Ultra low lag (sub 2ms consistently) DIY Arduino Pro Micro $10ish

Or buy it from the shop https://www.daemonbite.com/product/ktrl-arcade/

Even if you have a laggy arcade stick replacing the encoder with this will make it quicker.

Re: USB Midi Interface and ST Core

You need to change the UART to external MIDI and UDP, it works with UMONE USB to Midi with my SC-88 Pro. Ofcourse you need to change the game's sound to MT-32.

Re: Recommendations for reliable wireless joypad

RetroBit Saturn/Genesis 2.4GHZ with USB dongle is really poor. They always miss a frame. Better to go with wired ones if you are sensitive to lag.

Re: ao486 wish-list

Notwithstanding, you can see how unstable the core can be just by the fact that sometimes it hangs while booting up and running through Config.sys and Autoexec.bat. Anyway, as I'm no developer I'm happy to enjoy what we have ;) It only freezes if you touch the mouse while booting for some strange reason. Its a perfectly fine 386dx core otherwise. ...

Some games are picky with the amounts of ram so I have a file for 2/4/6/8 megs of ram :D
Interesting, does this means that cranking up the RAM all the way to 12MB isnt always helpful? Did you by chance get SSF2NC running without crashing?
