2.5 ram works fine with this core.

So, it can play KOF '96 & '97 basically. Those games are 1Mb of RAM.

SCART Cable No Sound

I'm using a Dsub15 to RGB SCART cable bought from retro access. It has a separate sound cable attached. Tried plugging it into my SRS-XB22 but all I keep getting is zzzzz-buzzing! :geek: How to pull the sound? When it's hooked up via HDMI to my flat panel it's A-Ok! But when connected via analog RGB I get picture no sound. I'm using the analog IO b...

What is this and how do I fix it? It appears at startup for Main and Core.

Edit your MiSTer.ini and delete the line with volumectl

You have my gratitude. That did the trick!

Re: CPS2 Alien vs Predator No Sound

Try the dip switch settings.

Some Arcade games have the sound off by default. To listen you simply have to turn it back on in the dip settings. Be warned some games like this require two controllers to activate and save settings in the dip switches. So either make sure you have a second controller handy or use a keyboard for player 2.

Re: MiSTer Super Attract Mode (SAM) is now available - the first game screensaver for your MiSTer!

You must have had an old script version of update_MiSTer_SAM.sh. We changed the defaultb variable early March I believe. If you had rerun update_all it should have updated to the newest SAM version for you. Anyways, glad you figured it out! When the issue first surfaced, I ran and reran update all several times over the course of a few months befo...

I haven't tested it yet but probably unlikely that it's BGM related It did I think. Provided a images, this tell you guys anything? Let me know if I sshed correctly. Before anyone asks yes...

Re: MiSTer Super Attract Mode (SAM) is now available - the first game screensaver for your MiSTer!

Hey therourke, not sure why SAM stops cycling for you. What controllers do you have connected? Please ssh into the mister and check with "/media/fat/Scripts/MiSTer_SAM_on.sh monitor" while SAM is running to see what it's doing. My Sam also stopped working. Re: Sega Saturn core work with the BlisSTer?

It works as standard hub, but LLAPI will be implemented as soon it got official released. The BlisSTer board has two modes of operation: LLAPI mode and low latency USB mode. As Captain FPGA mentioned, the LLAPI support has to be added by a third party and is never a default option. Given the current development status of the Saturn core, it's prob...

Re: Sega Saturn core work with the BlisSTer?

No, the core is still in very early development stages. As adding support requires code modification by a third party so unless the Saturn core is forked at this very early stage and LLAPI support integrated it will not work. The GitHub for the LLAPI cores is here: https://github.com/MiSTer-LLAPI/LLAPI_folder_MiSTer/tree/main/_LLAPI Thank you very...

Go to "Video Processing" in OSD, choose "Load Preset" >> "No Filters". Probably won't help but it's always good to rule that one out.

Re: PSX Core Ugly Tint

I saw more posts from different cores last week complaining about some color/tint/hue interferance. Maybe it has to do something with the MiSTer main? At any rate I manually replaced unstable main with regular main however the problem persists. Your issue is it similar to this one below ?

Something like that yeah. I posted a few examples. Main difference is my tint is purple. They appear a little clearer on video and pics than they do actually watching it on the TV.

Hi, yes, I was pleased to find update_all - I thought I was going to have to do all this manually... Is there a way to tell it to ignore certain games? E.g. I really have no interest in fighter games, so would be nice to be able to hide/remove them. I could remove them manually, but the next update_all will presumably add them again. Sorry, there'...
