Re: Purchase Help?
There are 3 good EU stores (if your in EU too) for mister stuff. https://misterfpga.co.uk https://ultimatemister.com http://antoniovillena.es (a bit more arcade inspired then the others) Then controllers! USB way is the easiest, some can notice lag others not, some have noticed after switching too blisster/SNAC that they are better on some games bu...

Re: MiSTer DE10-Nano Power Supply
You can't really get much more than 3A flowing over 5V (yeah, I've seen 4+ amp power supplies too...and when you measure the current at max draw, it's either nowhere near that or the transformer melts). Can you link some of these test? And preferably a test on a known good wallwart and not some crappy china crap that will always be bad and overrat...

Re: MiSTer DE10-Nano Power Supply
According to that magic number 12V transformers/powersupply can not have more then 7,2A then? 3/5*12=7,2 So for example Seasonic gives out a massive lie (AND anandtechs measurements lies too) that their https://www.anandtech.com/show/14338/the-seasonic-focus-plus-gold-750fx-750w-psu-review have 62A on the 12V line and 20A on the 5V (AND 3,3V that s...

Re: MiSTer DE10-Nano Power Supply
And why no more then 3A? Powersupplys/transformers can have as many A as possible and it will not hurt anything at all. If they have a Amp rating near what the load will be that is waaaaaaaayyyyy more dangerous then having more A then needed. Crappy Powersupplys/transformers (that sadly not always mean cheapcheap) are often overrated a bit and can ...

Re: Digital vs Analogue I/O Board
Yes the digital io have power in and power switch that supply the de-10 nano with power. https://misterfpga.co.uk/mister-fpga-how-to-install-the-digital-io-board/ The one thing, that i have no idé at all if it is accurate or not is that i read somewhere that that power switch is not rated for the power needed for the de-10 nano (probably with an us...

Re: USB inputs for controllers
Also is usb addon board just using the micro port?
Yes!
No header
In other words what do I do if the micro is no longer working?
1, Fix/replace the Usb Micro port (NOT easy).
2, Buy another De-10 nano.
3, S.O.L

Re: How many buttons for a DIY spinner/trackball controller?
Not really sure about trackball since i have not really looked into them more then a quick glance, but it will probably not be any of the smaller ones. Looked a bit more about spinners and the mr spinner seems pretty good and cheap. And it will be about 2-3 months before i buy any spinner/trackball. I did ask about buttons since i´m going to order ...

How many buttons for a DIY spinner/trackball controller?
I´m about to buy parts for building a regular arcade stick. And have been thinking about spinners (probably go with a mr spinner) and trackball. Since i have very limited deskspace where i game i will build 2-3 standalone arcade controllers (arcade/spinner/trackball). So my questions is. How many buttons do a standalone spinner controller need? How...

Re: LG C9 OLED & 1920x1440p
I have a the AOC Agon AG 271QG and i cannot get 1920x1440 @60hz to work with mister (no signal). 1080p and 720p is working ok. Yep same here and i get the same Edid. I have manage to get 1920x1440 work from windows but it will then stretch the image to 16:9 (cover the full screen) and no way to turn it off (that i can find/see). I tried some Edid ...

Re: Stormtrooper case from Europe?
There is not many options here in the EU. You can look in the seller section of the forum https://misterfpga.org/viewforum.php?f=34 And the two places that seems too work best/have stuff in stock the most her in EU is. https://misterfpga.co.uk/ https://ultimatemister.com/ But from what i seen the last month most interesting stuff is more or less so...

Re: Coaxial RCA S/PDIF from the MiSTer/addonboard?
Easiest? Maybe. Will work? Yes.
But also means one more (hopefully not needed) box and one more wallwort for 12V, and need too buy one more optical cable (no big deal though).

Coaxial RCA S/PDIF from the MiSTer/addonboard?
Hey there all smart people! I´m a newbie that is looking to buy a mister setup this month. I do have a problem though and that is i have a headphone amp (AMI musik DS5) that i really like with my Hifiman HE-400 headphones and is the only thing i use when gaming/music/movies. And therefore does not have any other music devices anywhere near my gamin...
