I got the same error.

Are you certain it is seated correctly?
These are very simple boards, while checking the fit, inspect the RTC for any obvious issues with components or soldering.

Re: RTC Not Working

You can test the battery by bridging it with your tounge along the edge.

If it tingles, its good. If you feel nothing, its dead.

That said, I would expect the system to detect the RTC and just not save. Are you certain it is seated properly?

Re: MiSTer Multisystem - All-in-One System

We have another built and tested shipment of Pi-MMS ready to be sent to the shop, they should be available soon. You can always message the Retro group team and they should be able to give updates on the availability. Just a general note, we are starting to see some improvement of component lead times, they are still on 20+ weeks, but before Chris...

Hello everyone,

The MiSTer Multisystem all-in-one integrated motherboard prototypes have been completed and are working!

I love my MiSTer and my MMS.

I've been patiently waiting for Pi-MMS to go back in stock to complete my setup, but noticed the date slipping and no real news or ETA. Any updates?

Thanks!

Re: AtGames Legends Gamer Pro controller questions (and some answers)

A solution to these all of these woes is to replace the innards and wire it how you want. You could change out the stock control board with one of many solutions: (extremely lowlatency wired, DIY) arduino/daemonbite: https://github.com/MickGyver/DaemonBite-Arcade-Encoder or pi pico: https://github.com/FeralAI/PicoFightingBoard (Off the shelf soluti...

Re: Floppys and Virus

Out of interest, what does MGL mean in that context? I'm trying to parse it, and am failing completely. https://mister-devel.github.io/MkDocs_MiSTer/advanced/mgl/ 'MGL Files MGL files are used as a custom method to load games directly from the MiSTer FPGA's Menu core. They can be placed in the root of the SD card to show up in the top of the menu,...

Re: Recommended WiFi Dongles

In case this helps anyone, I am using this USB WiFi/BT module without a single functional issue: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YDFZWT8 It affords both radios in a small form factor and only uses a single USB port. With regard to speed, it's hard to say what throughput is possible and there are many variables between everyones RF environment and thei...

I use this with a PS5 controller (among others) and it works fine:

Re: MiSTer inside a PlayStation One

It's a shame the DE-10 doesn't have a temp sensor for the FPGA. You can add a temperate sensor onto the 1.3-1.4 RTC addon boards. I used one of these: https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/analog-devices-inc/AD7415ARTZ-0500RL7/760456 When installed it is positioned near the main package but not a direct measurement. You can have it display th...

Re: MiSTer screen freezes when connecting analog audio to Dell soundbar

That sounds like an electrical problem, like something is wrong with the analog board. You might want to contact your seller for support. A way around the problem, assuming that the soundbar can take a Toslink input, would be to run a Mini-toslink to Toslink adapter, making sure it's fiber only, no copper. Digital sound on the Mister is much bette...
