Will the core be able to autoboot custom HDF images that are configured to boot directly to the game?

Re: Share the most terrible retro gaming memory you have

I regret throwing out my old 80386 DX 40 PC :(
It had a functioning VGA CRT, and a mono SoundGalaxy sound card
Would love to have it today to play DOS games on real hardware

Did not know that! :)

Interesting... integrating a 4-port USB hub to the IO board.
Those are good looking cases too :)
Still, these are China made products, so who knows what the quality is like

Re: MD+/MSU Games Are Here!

Hello! I am still having issues with getting MD+ games to load on my Krikzz MEGA Everdrive Pro. I also have a Terraonion Mega SD and everything works great! For the Krikzz, I downloaded the ISPs, but I'm not sure what to do with them. I believe I'm close, and I have a feeling I just need to rename some files? Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!...

My LG OLED65E6 can accept anything between 240p-1200p, but it can't accept anything beyond that other than 2160p.

Re: CPS 2 Release to Public ?

Tried this just now and still the same blank screen. I have also tried by deleting mra and rbf files and running update_all for the 3rd time to no avail. Update message says successful, yet, I get blank screen when loading cps2 roms. Try putting qsound.zip in /media/fat/_Arcade/mame, that was the default location set by the Update_All script when ...

Re: Networking problem: 169.254.xxx.xxx IP address

The left green light is lit but not the right. I can't remember if both lights are supposed to give feedback on this port. Just having the left light lit is fine... the right orange light is only when there's activity. Another thing to do is ensure there are no other devices connected to your router. Turn everything off, including the router's WiF...

Re: Networking problem: 169.254.xxx.xxx IP address

Is the green LED on the DE-10 Nano's Ethernot port lit? If yes, then it shouldn't be a hardware problem. Some routers may have problems with the default MAC address. You can force a change of the MAC address by going to Scripts > mac_address_change Once the MiSTer reboots you should have a new MAC address. Revert back to DHCP and see if your router...

Re: CPS 2 Release to Public ?

You need to add the DOWNLOAD_BETA_CORES to update_jtcores.ini not update_all.ini Or just use the configuration mode of update_all and set it that way Funny, there's no update_jtcores.ini in my Scripts folder. What a complete confusing mess this update process is. This is all you have to do: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alcKBAxl82k Works beautif...

Re: CPS 2 Release to Public ?

I just checked on Github, it is only in jtbin, not JTSTABLE. So you must use the beta option. You should have a update_all.ini in the Scripts directory, check that it contains the following line: DOWNLOAD_BETA_CORES="true" I added it to my update_all.ini, but it didn't work :( This is what my INI file looks like, am I missing anything? Glad it's been resolved. Yeah, anytime your having trouble getting these roms working simply delete the core and/or your bios from the problem cores directory and run update all. Re: MiSTer Custom Aspect Ratios for Horizontal Integer Scaling

I think I finally cracked the Amiga code... turrican21.png cannon1.png mega1.png beast31.png I think my problem was related to the "Adjust screen position" option, which apparently saves adjustments made to a file, minimig_vadjust.dat. I renamed that file in both the shared Amiga and main config folders and now the ratios I had tried pre...

shot in the dark here, linux is case sensitve.. open the CUE file and ensure the name of the file matches the name of the bin exactly, case matters. Windows doesnt care If the files are Final_Fight_CD.BIN and Final_Fight_CD.CUE and inside the cue it reads.. final_fight_cd.bin it may fail.. I have seen this before on Raspberrypi which is linux. Re: Consolized Amiga Experience

I do think it probably is possible to take most CD32 images and convert them into HDFs. That way the collection would "just work". Problem with CD32 is that quite often you need to figure out how to do this per game or at least per CD. Look through the boot files to figure out what it does and add something extra to them. Yeah, I found a...

Try looking for "ransom hdf collection", or PM me if you get really desperate. Alternatively just use adfs, these are not big games after all (1-2 disks).
