For those who're itchy to play "Zero Wing" (not "Out Zone" yet I'm afraid), and still haven't been able to make it run, try this:
Just dump the .mra's directly under _Arcade and the .rbf inside _Arcade/cores. It's a couple of iterations behind, but it's working

You need to get the core from the #test-builds channel, not the one in #unstable-nightliespierreangelique666 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 22, 2022 7:46 pm In the PSX menu, how can I switch between one and two SDRAM options? Re: Access Discord Server Without Providing Phone Number?
You might have enabled phone verification at some earlier time. It's not so much that individual server ask for a phone number, it just turns out that if some verification method is enforced on the server; the end user has to provide a phone number. I believe those who have registered before a certain date (a couple of years ago?), are not forced ...

Thanks to @ theypsilon , we now have the ability to use exclusion tags regarding what gets downloaded with each update. After today's spontaneous "reorganization" of the ludicrously bloated stitchwork showcase Shadow_Masks folder, and the arbitrary "deprecation" of the only filters I care about (namely Jovec's), my downloader.in...

Re: Favorite Shadow Masks
The most faithful (i.e. "correct by the numbers") mask I've encountered among the tenths, is @ LamerDeluxe 's Realistic->Slot->Slot Bright . However, it doesn't yet take into account different resolutions, nor does it use luminosity coefficients. The result is that it looks overlayed on the display, much like most of the other respected e...

At least now I know that the update script did not mess anything. [OT] Since yesterday, the 'downloader' script features opt-out tags/exclusion filters. Quite handy, and very granular as well. Look here for the details on how to set it up. [/OT] On topic: I think I've dug out every -correct- image needed to build boot.rom , except graphfont.bin . ...

Re: Scanline filters not working after latest update
They are not compatible. ghogan42 or someone else will have to create new composite blend filters from scratch. https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Filters_MiSTer/pull/32 They're not called "composite blend" filters. But they're there, inside the interpolation folders. Try them. I get that people don't have much time, will, or inclination to...

Re: Scanline filters not working after latest update
Looking forward to the ‘adapted’ versions. These just got merged! Onto manually re-adjusting each and every core (with trial-and-error)! Remember; you'll want interpolation in the 'horz' field (' Upscale - Recommended ' is what I uh, recommend; they're Gaussian sharpening filters), and scanlines in the 'vert' field. Presets in the root of th...

In the ' Horz filter ' field, select ' From file ' and then choose one of the interpolation filters (or the scanline filter you were already using; it won't matter, since only the "blurriness" values will be read). In the ' Vert filter ' field, choose one of the already existing vertical scanline filters; ' Scan filter ' setting, you can ...

Re: Questions about LLAPI
That's a highly speculative question I'm afraid. Currently the only lightguns functioning with LLAPI BlisSTer via HDMI cable/adaptors, are the NES Zapper, plus recently AFAIK, the SNES Super Scope/Justifier etc. (but only with the revised cable and firmware). That said, since I don't own any lightgun, I can't attest to their 'cross-operability' so ...

Re: The Result of My Search for a Great MiSTer Display
Your .ini looks fine to me... maybe set: refresh_min= refresh_max= ...to your panel's specs. Also, try to reload the offending cores once or twice without rebooting, and see what happens* *There's a known issue/bug with DoDonPachi, as selecting 57Hz in the OSD forces precisely that with HDMI. Assuming your panel supports it, try to directly feed-in...

If you're talking about the later, then maybe double-check your HDMI cable, as mine syncs with everything I throw at it, to a T.

Please note; Cartridges work fine, cassettes load fine, but the extended disk color BASIC rom included (last version 1.4 from 1985), gives me trouble mounting .dsk files. Go to TRS-80 Color Computer Archive, to test your luck with the plethora of dumps

Try launching the .mras directly (from under 'Arcade').
