The answer I was given is that the C maps to R and L maps to Z. So the top row of buttons is mapped YXL and the bottom row BAR left to right.
I'm still unclear how we're supposed to also have shoulder buttons though. I guess this will all work itself out someday when the Saturn core drops.

Re: New MiSTer Composite adapter - mAVster_MD2
I would love to see a powered version that does it's own c-sync conversion to use with other sources.

Re: Saturn
Even if if it doesn't end up running on DE-10 Nano hardware, the work is still valid and it will be able to be utilized on other FPGA hardware in the future. It's a worthy cause.

Let's hope so. :) The tracking shows that international dispatch happened on Wednesday, 20 January 2021. Maybe some stuff which is normally handled as an air freight is now transported by tucks because of new travel restrictions in different EU countries. I ship a lot of stuff world wide and it seems like since last March a lot of stuff is being r...

Re: Composite Blend on Genesis core on all console cores?
Any system that used composite or RF for video output will have had games that make heavy use of dithering. That was certainly never a Genesis only thing.SegaSnatcher wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 5:43 pm Definitely doesn't make sense for all cores. Only handful for the systems that used dithering heavily.

Re: SHMUP Slowdown / Accuracy of Arcade Cores
It looks like input lag on Groovymame is quite bad, 2-3 frames compared to pcb, see this video for example: https://youtu.be/t0fkVi6p1oE I think MiSTer is already performing much better than that? Yes, MiSTer is better than that. Lag can be as low as only an extra 1ms over usb (depending on implementation) and lower than that with SNAC or Bliss. A...

Re: Tandy 1000 Core
I hope this core becomes a reality. It would be cool if it was allowed to be booted with either TGA or CGA as some PC/XT games were unable to run in color on the mc6845 graphics and you had to settle using Hercules or something else instead.
