I managed to change the MAC Address and modified the etc/hosts -> I found my Amiga Mistress there with 127.0.1.1 under the entry 127.0.0.1 local host and gave her the 127.0.0.1 loopback adress, but FTP still failes with Connection refused. Which step am I missing?

Ok, same IP seems normal, FTP issues I found the solution in an older Post:

"Worth noting that if you change /etc/hostname you should update the 127.0.0.1 entry in /etc/hosts. Without this ftpd won't work at a minimum."

Update: Remade the SD card for the new MiSTer (it´s actually a MiSTress), run all the updates. Now both are online with the same IP.

How is this even possible?

I always connected by using the IP, worked before the name change, "Error: Conenction refused by Server" after the name change. Didn´t touch anything else.

There is a script for changing the Hostname, which didnt run from the UI but within the shell called "change_hostname.ini" and "change_hostname.sh" It runs though fine and confirmed the new name. I have a WLAN AP behind my router, i unplugged that coz it seems he got his IP from the AP, which might explain the "lag" be...

Last but not least, some scripts give me a syntax error when downloaded from Github, how is the official way to download those? Right Click and "Save as.." ?

Wing Commander III Joystick Support seems still broken

You can have your oppinion about the whole Paprium desaster, and it was a burning trainwreck. Dismissing the game itself seems weird, even more with the reasons mentioned? Bootleg? How so? And while it´s uncommon beside Virtua Racing, it doesn´t bother me at all. I even think those SA-1 Patches for normal SNES games are great (Gradius for example)....

The A500 has a Numpad, which was required for older games and also benefits for ao486 use.

Using a Rpi 3A, no issues yet

Might be related or not, but I had issues with external HDD going to sleep mode and not spinning up fast enough again when needed.
(Mostly Amiga Demos)

Swapped the HDD for an SSD and no issues since.

Hell Yeah! Startet to lose hope in Deutsche Post, but today they pulled through and moved my parcel into my happy home. Build Quality and packaging were great, the MiSTer case (Stormtrooper white) looks way better in RL then on pics and is way above my first 3D printed case. I can wholeheartedly recommend Ricardo and his Shop, he is a friendly help...

The Saturn also has a 68k CPU for housekeeping, the existing Genesis or MegaCD Core would need those extra circuits.

The mister.ini heinz posted above should work on NTSC out of the box.

Have the same issue with a cable that arrived today, picture is super dark, probably only black/white.

Tried on 2 TV which work fine otherwise with PAL and NTSC Setups. I also know it works with my MiSTer, I borrowed a cable from a friend once.

What Version of Wing Commander 3 did you use? Any special switches while mounting the iso?

How likely are the chances of mounting an iso / having mscdexc working under DOS? Some games like Wing Commander 3 are depending on that. Mounting an ISO is no problem, you can use SHSUCDX, it installs an alternative CD Driver. Wing Commander works, but is much to slow to be playable. Whoever made the Wing Commander III entry, how did you get it to run?

I managed to install it and Speed was OK during tests, far better then expected but it throws a error message while starting.
According to the interwebs it is due to bad CD-ROM virtualisation. Copying the whole CD to HDD didnt helped at all.

How likely are the chances of mounting an iso / having mscdexc working under DOS?

Some games like Wing Commander 3 are depending on that.
