Re: Sega Saturn Core in Development

Hi. I'm fine. The Russian occupiers have turned off our Internet and mobile communications. There is a slow Internet connection, but this one is not always available. Twitter and Facebook are blocked, so I'm writing here. I'm working on Saturn and other cores. Maybe not so fast, but I continue to work. Thank you all for support. You are a legend a...

Re: Sega Saturn Core in Development

Krikzz said he was contacted by Sergey on April 11 , and that he's OK but cut off from internet and phone. I don't see any reason why he'd need internet to keep working on the core, other than maybe getting copies of more games to test, but I hope he's just spending his time keeping his head down and surviving this stupid war. His area still in Ru...

Re: Sega Saturn Core in Development

Now that we know that srg320 is safe (thank God), does anyone know if he's able to work on the core atm? Last I heard, his internet and phone was cut off due to the war. He mentioned that he'll continue to work on the core, and srg320 seems like the type of fellow to bury himself in his work, especially in such a difficult time. I'm just curious i...

Re: CPS2 - SF Alpha 3 (EURO) - Codes / Dramatic Battle Not Working

atrac.zip Also, there are several unlocked mra's for cps2 that can be found here https://github.com/atrac17/Arcade_Offset I placed those nvm files in my save folder. Loaded up the corresponding rom. Nothing new happened, were these supposed to do something? Thanks to Arcade Offsets I got the Challenger Edition working. Btw does that version of Str...

Re: CPS2 - SF Alpha 3 (EURO) - Codes / Dramatic Battle Not Working

You could try the mra file for Street Fighter Alpha 3 Challengers Edition (USA 210408) where everything is already unlocked. Hey thanks! I didn't know this version existed for the MiSTer. I tried googling info on it and only found one tweet that mentioned there was a readme file on how to use this version for unlocks. But I couldn't find this read...

Re: SF Zero/Alpha 2 Gold?

Yeah, like TLPD-AVW suggested, it's already on MiSTer as Street Fighter Zero 2 Alpha. Here's a useful post that runs down the various differences between Zero 2 Alpha arcade and the home port. A big one is that Cammy is only in the home version. He's right. Cammy is on PS1, PS2, and the Sega Saturn. Much to my dismay, would've loved to see her in ...

Re: TMNT Cowabunga Collection may have some stuff taken out 😢

Solution, edit the songs out of the territories that have an issue. At that point it would seem like Konami is picking winners and losers. At least I'd have the option to import it. I believe Xbone is region free. If it cost more and Konami refused to cover the bill AGAIN they can go fuck themselves! Omg I'll be so happy whenever some brave soul c...

Re: TMNT Cowabunga Collection may have some stuff taken out 😢

I can understand the Pizza Hut logos being removed. That's a simple-ish sprite change out and only those that played the originals would even miss it. The licensed TV show theme song is a sadder miss if it's not there. It does make me wonder a bit. The original Arcade1Up cabinet for TMNT had a cover version instead of the actual licensed track. Th...

What did they remove/alter specifically on the Arcade1UP versions?

In RGT85's video the music appears to be intact for the Arcade1UP. Although it's hard to tell since he keeps heckling over it

Now this is Mad Little Pixels take but he is extrapolating from a developer? A possible concern for me would be them failing to preserve the license music.

Re: PlayStation Cheats

Cool thnx Overall, it works although some cheats are hit or miss. For instance, when you activate both hidden characters in Twisted Metal 2 it will unlock Sweettooth but not Minion. I wonder if this is an issue with the cheat itself or MiSTer specific issue L1 up down left on the character screen I still remember that one from 8th grade With respe...

Re: My favorite things about the MiSTer FPGA

I second everything you mentioned. Love MiSTerKun being the mascot btw. Would be cool is MiSTerkun got his own game some day. Maybe someone could create an endless runner core from the ground up for fun just for MiSTerkun and could be a MiSTer exclusive lol. It could play like the dinosaur Chrome game xD. I'd like that to be the only closed-source...

1. The community Everyone here is so nice and helpful! They're extremely patient with beginners and are willing to guide you through painstaking processes. Not saying this happens all the time but generally I've had enthused interactions with the community. That goes for both members and creators alike. 2. It just works. When I get an instruction f...

Re: TMNT the Cowabunga Collection Xbox/PlayStation/Nintendo platforms

I'm definitely picking it up. Between original carts and the Arcade1Up cab, I do own many of the games but I like showing support for things like this. The MiSTer is great for playing the console and handheld games but I do enjoy a compilation with extras to look through, especially with how much 80s and 90s TMNT was a big part of my youth. Plus, ...

Me! I'm a huge Ninja Turtles fan. Really Hoping they release another volume with the 3 Konami PS2/Xbox/Gamecube 2003 Ninja Turtle games and the 2 Gameboy Advance games. :D Unfortunately the 3D games aren't as wildey loved as they can be hit or miss; I can give you some of my favorites. The first TMNT game on Original Xbox/PS2/GC was cool. Don't ge...

Are others here like me waiting to see what happens with things like DUAL RAM (maybe PS1, Jaguar, Saturn ) Unfortunately the mastermind behind the Saturn core is in a horrible situation that no one should have to suffer through (core or not hope he survives). Even if someone else picks up the mantle something tells me you'd be waiting a long time....

I did not know this was there. Apparently the latest is at the bottom. Tried the ones at the top, at least 3 were giving me the grim screen of doom. Once I tried the bot...

It doesn't matter if he returns to working on the core or not. Let's continue to support him through Patreon. I can't even imagine what hardships he will have to endure in the near future. Re: Sega Saturn Core in Development

Last time I checked it was very very cold (-18 C°) Which seems to be bad for the population but worse for the Russian armies. I'm pretty sure the Russian army is used to/dressed for cold weather.... That's not how cold works though. You need a heat source at all time for the vehicules and the people. They are probably draining their fuel way faste...
