Re: What type of SD card to get for MiSTer

I’ve got a standard Sandisk 128gb and it’s working just fine.

Re: Most Compatible BIOS files for MegaCD Core?

I just have US , Japan, PAL and region free bios on mine. Region Free seems to work well for most things, but I have heard others say they can cause issues (though, none that I have seen).

I haven’t used that controller, but in my experience, mouse emulation works pretty well both with d-pads and sticks.

Re: Daptor-2600 D9 with 2600 Paddles?

Alright, some success now! I noticed a line on the 2600-daptor’s site that mentions that the paddles need to be centered and not dialed all the way right or left when the adapter detects them. I did that and MiSTer allowed me to map the paddles to Stick X and Stick Y. I tried Arkanoid and while the paddle works, it seems like it isn’t sensitive eno...

Re: Daptor-2600 D9 with 2600 Paddles?

When you first power up / connect the daptor 2600 you are suppose to take an action on the plugged in controller (I use mine for intellivision controllers .. for that I need to push 0 on the keypad).. You might want to check on the daptor site and see if there is something special you need to do with paddles .. I can check with mine later once I f...

Re: Daptor-2600 D9 with 2600 Paddles?

The Daptor-2600 D9 makes the Atari Paddle controllers register as a single game pad. The two dials are the two axises on what would be the left analog stick, as well as two buttons. Windows would see the Daptor-2600 D9 with the Atari paddles as a single Left analog stick with 2 buttons. When setting up on the MiSTer you need to Treat one paddle as...

Re: Recommendations for reliable wireless joypad

The m30 2.4g USB dongle version is pretty much plug 'n play, but it does have some significant input latency when used wirelessly. There's a version of the m30 2.4g that uses a DB9 genesis/megadrive dongle, and has magnificent input latency over wireless. You do, however, need to figure out a way to connect it to your mister. Daemonbites are easy ...

Daptor-2600 D9 with 2600 Paddles? [Solved]

I just got a Daptor-2600 D9 and was hoping to use 2600 paddles with them, but I can’t figure out how to configure the paddle. When I try to map the joystick, the paddle button registers and I can register “right” but that’s all I can do. Does anyone know the trick to getting these to function correctly in the 2600 emulator and perhaps for things li...

Re: MiSTer DE10-Nano Power Supply

Like the previous posters, I also have a Mean Well 5v/4a supply and it works just fine. I also just bought a “travel” adapter that uses a barrel plug to usb cable + a 5v/3a usb wall brick. I haven’t used that one for any extended play sessions yet, but it also seems to work just fine.

Nice to hear! I’m curious to try it when it’s in a more complete state as I’ve never played a Jaguar game. I remember seeing them in KB Toys on sale for $35 as a kid.
